Yeah, seems like act 3 either got nerfed or is bugged with regards to ilevel 63 items. Nowhere near what it was in 1.0.2 doing 5-stack Siege runs. Curious though if it's bugged, or if they nerfed it and tried to sneak it past us.
the problem is, in a1 there is no gear for a melee to survive in a2, same a2-->a3...
the bosses are never the problem, melees are broken. ranged invest 1mio and clear complete inf where melees have to buy stats gear WITH resists... so this is no gaming experience and not really fun.
ok in a2, IF u find a stormshield mit 25+% block u get 15mio, then ure inf a3 ready, but without this luck, u have to farm 2 years to get the gold^^...
i think, melee dmg reduction must be 45+% and some tweaking in the life transitions between the acts and its fine.
and the ilvl drop changes are good for all ppl, so i think prices get down
So by this, you're saying stormshield = 15 million, thus 15 million = 2 years? You might want to try selling some of the items you're getting in act 1, friend sold a few and he's already at 5 million. Nonetheless, my monk's cleared through Siegebreaker, so there it is possible. Act 2 was hard at first, act 3 is worse, though.
Edit: and fwiw i think they're going to overtune the damage down in 1.0.3, but we'll see.
I hope they at least buff the legendary drop rates in some incoming patch becuase after 3 level 60s, over 250 hours played and 100,000 kills I still haven't found one.
I'm at ~240 hours, 78365 kills, 3384 elites and about 10 legendaries. Maybe try upping the MF? I'm at 341 with 5 stacks.
Pretty sure my stats were at or lower than that, try to get past the desert as those poison shots are a bit .. painful. I know I had less resistance and dps, but I wasn't sure of my hp (likely higher, around 39k). Act 3 is a different story.
I'd imagine they have to launch the NA region at the same time, if they let east coast go live at 12:01, but force those of us who went with digital via Blizzard to wait until 12:01am on west coast, people would cancel their digital orders.
Easier way is to check the forum and see if you have access to post in the beta feedback forum. If you do, you're in. Saves me having to find my authenticator.
This is relavent to my interests. Looking at getting a couple of days off work, so I need to know if I should get Tuesday (15th) off, or start time off on Wednesday (16th). Living in Australia an digital downloading as well.
I'd start my time off on Wednesday if you're in Australia, personally. Might depend on which server you intend to play on, too.
One would imagine they would launch the game at 12:01am pacific since that's likely when the digital downloads would allow you to install. Whatever time they allow digital downloads would be my guess for the launch time, since they wouldn't be too smart allowing the game to release at 12:01am eastern, and digital downloads at 12:01am pacific, otherwise it'd be pointless.
edit: fwiw the digital download of Cata went live at 12:01am pacific / 12:01am CET depending on region, but not sure what time the actual content went live on each server?
