As some players have pointed out, allowing characters to revive at their banner's location does create some complications and could lead to certain kinds of gameplay that we'd prefer to avoid in Diablo III (this is actually why we don't allow players use Town Portals in the same way that you could in Diablo II). We definitely appreciate the feedback, though, and will continue to consider how we might be able to accommodate this suggestion -- or at least something similar -- in the future.

That said, we completely agree that banners in their current form are pretty boring and we'd love to make them more useful. If you have other ideas for banner uses, please share them!

(On a note that's somewhat related to respawning, we also happen to agree that incremental resurrection timers are overkill -- especially given the other penalties you incur when dying -- and are looking to change it so that players can always revive at the last checkpoint five seconds after death in an upcoming patch.)

Turns out we do, too. I followed up with our designers, and they asked me to clarify that the "5 seconds" accounts for 2 seconds for the "You have been killed!" window appears and then the standard 3-second wait to resurrect. So, we're not actually increasing the timer at all; we're just looking to no longer increment the timer for players who die multiple times.

It’s that time again! On the morning of Tuesday, November 6, we’ll be conducting maintenance in order to reset the Diablo II ladder. We anticipate the realms could be down for up to six hours, and during that time all existing ladder characters will be converted to non-ladder. All characters and items being converted to non-ladder will remain intact, but once converted these characters will no longer have access to ladder content such as creating ladder-only rune words.

This ladder reset, like all those before it, creates a clean slate where all ladder characters begin at level 1 with no previous items to help them. To participate, simply wait until the Diablo II realms return to service on November 6, log in to Battle.net, and tick the “Ladder Character” checkbox when creating a new character. You can track ladder character leveling progress by clicking on the Ladder button from the main Diablo II in-game Battle.net interface.

Using the type of programs or "hacks" you mentioned could potentially violate our Diablo III Exploitation Policy. As Lylirra mentioned here, we're definitely aware of the frustration vendoring the wrong item can cause for players (I've done it, myself). We strongly urge players to use caution whenever selling items to a vendor, and to take advantage of the Buyback tab in instances where an oversight occurs, but beyond that, we have no immediate plans for an additional layer of protection. I don't know how you "accidentally" sell your gear and then like 10 more items so you can't buy it back.
It happens. That doesn't make someone an idiot, though. It just makes them human (because, hey, we all make mistakes).

At present, we feel that the Buyback system is a good safeguard and don't have any immediate plans to add any additional preventative features. That said, we're still open to your feedback about other options, and we especially encourage constructive discussions debating what those other options might be.

In addition to the variety of Diablo-themed products we currently sell on the Blizzard Store, we've actually released a number of Diablo-related statues and collectable action figures over the years.

There were a variety of action figures released in association with both Diablo I and Diablo II, and we partnered with Sideshow collectables a few years ago to release a really incredible (and massive!) Diablo III Barbarian Diorama. As far as I know, we no longer sell any of these items straight-away, and the limited edition diorama is sold out, so you'd need to search for second-hand sellers for such rare treasures.

You may be pleased to know, however, that we recently revealed a new Sideshow Diablo statue, so make sure to keep an eye out for future updates on how you can get your hands on this striking piece of Diablo collectable art.
