    posted a message on Set item in inventory - does it count?
    Yes you can and I think it's a great new mechanic in D3. I'm actually enjoying the full set bonuses for 7 different sets at once. It's really quite powerful and I definitely recommend it.

    posted a message on They should remove checkpoints
    I just wanted to make a quick post to point this out. Some time ago (pre patch 10?) they introduced checkpoints. As a result, the player almost never starts in town and I think this kind of goes against how a Diablo game is played. Maybe it's just that nostalgia of starting in town a million times before. I just find it unnecessary given quests seem to be relatively short overall and players are likely to complete one before quitting. I suppose it would be handy if you get killed repeatedly and want to give up and return later? But even that's kind of lame. Diablo is about killing everything and there should be no objections to clearing a quest again if you decide to quit

    posted a message on NEED A MIC WHATS GOOD?
    My best advice would be a headset with a USB interface as this will give you the best voice quality. Analog headsets CAN be great but only if you have a really good sound card as well. I like Sennheiser personally, REALLY comfortable ear padding and great sound quality. I'm sure Razer and Steelseries products are good too, just see what's the best deal online.

    posted a message on Inferno level difficulty;
    Inferno monsters will be at least level 61. This just means they will be significantly more difficult that Hell monsters and most players won't be able to jump straight into inferno once they hit level 60. Like you mentioned, players will compensate for their inferior level by equipping sick gear. There will simply be a period of farming/trading for powerful equipment before tackling inferno.

    posted a message on what effects the rmah will have on the real world economy
    Diablo 3 items on the RMAH are "luxury goods" in economics. Essentially, players wil be spending money on the RMAH instead of going to the movies or buying something expensive and frivilous. They wil subtitute these luxury goods for d3 items. i.e no one is going to blow their welfare check on a windforce hydra bow... lol Necessity gods like food and shelter and clothes will always come through.

    To address the question posed by the OP, in my opinion the RMAH will not have a major impact on the real world economy. It will make some players a little spending money and will make Blizzard a boatload of cash in fees. Players who want to make a reasonable amount of money on the RMAH will need to invest a lot of time AND money out of pocket to make a reasonable return.

    posted a message on Living in the past
    Diablo 3 would be an utter failure if they took a game that's over 10 years old and simply revamped the graphics for the new release. There are very few changes/additions/removals for D3 that I disapprove of as Blizzard is doing a great job collecting community feedback and incorporating it into the game. The Beta is incredible and I have every confidence that D3 will be the best Diablo yet. :D

    posted a message on 2 One Handed Weapons and Skills
    Use 2 weapons yields very high DPS and very fast attack rate, good for large mobs. Using one 2 handed weapon is for higher single target damage (bosses/super uniques). Apart from ordinary attacks, these weapon choices effect skills differently as well. For example, using two 1 handers for whirlwind causes you to land at least 50% more hits so it seems to be the logical choice for WW. I like how Blizzard is trying to balance the effectiveness of weapon/shield, dual wielding, and 2 handers. They're trying to make each option feasible in any given situation.
