Builds for progression for monk. T1 = Anything, get Sunwuko --> T6.
It really is that simple.

Also, that making items is hard, but now that the skills are still bad, that they can make items to make them less bad.
Could you tell me the link of the video you watched? Because you definitely did not watch the video of Wyatt Cheng.
Nice video that shows why the combat system of D3 is so great and just fighting monsters feels so good. It also makes you appreciate how much work they put into testing and iterating. It makes me wonder how many of the "suggestions" we see coming up here have already been tried out in internal beta testing (i.e., during stages no one knows about). It's so easy to just Photoshop something and say "this is the best idea ever, just implement it" but when actually experimenting with it it turns out to be crap. We just see the outcome.

So the MF bonus from multiplayer isn't multiplicative? Then it's still more efficient to farm solo...
This exactly, typical and keeping with the Blizzard direction, simple, obvious fixes are ignored for 2 years before being addressed...not in the best or easiest way but by removing them altogether and simplifying the game to ignore the problem.Quote from Ryude
Blizz: "Wahh, wahhh, this is hard work! We can't do fixes that every other game developer can do within a week. Stop complaining, you're hurting our feelings!"

Also lower the power of legendary items to about 85% of the best rolled rare, but keep the affixes as being unique and only allow primary stat/class specific stats to change (if can be used by multiple classes). That way rares still are sought after.
There, I just fixed itemization.

2) Need to now make all items drop more often, the drop rates of console likely are close to perfect.
3) No items should ever be BoA now, not Marquise, not Legendaries, not Mystic changes, nothing.
4) Legendary items need to never roll "random properties" as that will ruin the entire economy because nothing will have a steady pricepoint to base your find on. The only randomness on legendary items should be the values, and whether it rolls Str, Dex, Int (and other affixes such as "regenerates 1 mana per second" only if Int, changes to "Regenerates X Spirit per second" or "Hatred per second" if dex, etc. Also if the item has a class specific skill boost, then it could swap to another class as well; but never contradict the Primary stat).
If this doesn't happen, then the game will fail within 6 months after the AH is removed due to nobody knowing a proper price on anything.
5) Ensure that rares can be best in slot in terms of PURE damage/defensive stats, that means making legendary items slightly weaker in pure stats, but they have unique stats, stats that rares cannot get on certain slots, and more stats (by way of procs/special things) than rares. This keeps rares competitive and sought after for absolutely amazing ones.
6) Add in a Gambler, you can wager anywhere from 100k --> 100m to gamble an item, the more you gamble, the higher the chance it will be a legendary item.
7) Add in the ability to buy stuff for your banner and allow your banner to be seen on your character if you want it to be (or at least shown when you die, etc.). Make the things cost a lot of gold.
8) Add in a mode that you can gamble gold on killing monsters, if you pass the targetted time then items drop more and better depending on the amount of gold you put up.
9) Reduce the amount of gold you can find unless specifically geared for it.

Good for Blizzard, ensuring that their development switches to PC like it properly should have at the beginning.

We all know Bashiok is a joke anyways, he didn't know anything about Diablo 2 or 3 and is despised on WoW forums as well.

Question 2: Why are dropped rares worse than legendaries and worse than crafted items? Shouldn't found rares be the potentially best items in game, the crafted rares be about equal with legendary items?
Question 3: Why not have soft/hard caps on attributes (crit chance, crit damage, resists, etc.) for people to strive for to ensure varied loot, and so people can gear their characters differently once they hit a cap?
Question 4: When will all items drop and be socketed automatically with the most sockets possible? If an item can have a socket, and doesn't it is worthless to the player who found it and everyone else.
Question 5: Why is every ability tied to primary/weapon DPS? This means that your hero is utterly weak even at 60/100 if no gear is equipped. Why not give abilities a base damage that scales (due to your lack of skill trees) with your level and has a coefficient of damage based on weapon DPS/main stat? That way even if a player doesn't have 400% crit damage, 50% crit and 80% IAS they can still not feel ridiculously weak?
Question 6: When does power creep get to be too much? 500K DPS? Really?
Question 7: Will PvP ever be balanced separately? If not, why didn't you put the tech in place to do so? WoW PvP has been plagued by this for years, it should have been pretty obvious that D3 would be in the same boat.
Question 8: When will all skills/runes be balanced? With over 50% of skills and runes being so under performing that they may as well be removed, what plans are in place to make them competitive without having to rely on the RNG gods to drop items which could bolster their effects?
Question 9: Why not allow all items (end game) to be found in Hell, and leave inferno for a bragging rights/achievement/banner changer/cosmetic item bonus area? Giving people Paragon levels, MP levels, Neph Valor and other benefits for running Inferno just ensures that there are the people who can, and everyone else. The game should be about finding loot, not having to find loot to get a better chance to find the same loot. I guess the real question is, now that people are 60/100 and can farm MP10 with no problems and are asking for MP11+, at what point do you have to step back and consider that farming gear for the sake of farming the same gear more efficiently is not compelling gameplay?

Uhh the one above, I like the combat, and the potion removal, but the skill system that they finalized on is a giant pile of crap.
Essentially, the reason they went away from skill trees is because players are stupid, console players cannot understand them (lol borderlands), and that making them so simple would keep it easier to ensure they were fun. Sadly they forgot about making runes actually useful so they ended up with a craptastic system.
As for items, that is from the QA afterwards, where they essentially said D2 was cool, but we forgot all about it and made shit items from the get go except for 300th Spear, which still quite sucks since it is only a damage increase.

Meh, nothing new, just insight into why they made the bad decisions they did mostly.

Never posts on the actual forums because Blizzard is so scared of their players.

Dude, baby steps. You cannot expect Blizzard Developers, the best of the best of all game developers with years of experience making Diablo 3 one of the best PC games of all time, with a record number of sales and pre-orders in the first week, and probably voted the best game of the decade and possibly century, to release all of the best content and requested features to make the game better for group play and encourage friends to play together. That would be taking away resources from...all the other Blizzard projects because the 3 monkeys doing the development for Diablo 3 all circle jerk one another and have no clue what makes a good game, let alone a good ARPG.

Really, typical Blizzard, showing how stupid they are (see monk, with no scaling life regen and their mantra which sucks still sucks more than barbs).
Pathetic, Blizzard team needs to be fired.
