2 months after launch: Extra tabs only 5 Bobby Bucks!

Another "it's too hard" excuse from Blizzard. Give me a break. 10 character limit, only 3 tabs in the shared stash. They clearly want you selling your items on the RMAH rather than storing your stuff. Or buying extra tabs with Bobby Bucks.

By the way, I'm in the beta. I've got 1 tab nearly full already and I only have 3 characters at the moment. One set of damage gear for my wizard, one set of gold find gear, one set of magic find gear, and miscellaneous weapons and armor that I'm saving for twinking other characters. This is with a max level of 13 and only the first 1/3 of Act 1 in normal mode. People are going to fill their shared stash so quickly in release it's going to be a joke.

Huh? You could pretty easily click on the Wikipedia link and check their sources. The "a billion people watch the Super Bowl" thing is a myth.

"Shooting for" is such an extremely loose phrase. By Blizzard's standards, it means absolutely nothing. Not to mention in the same thread, Bashiok said "we're in the process of working on some rather large game system changes."

I used to be an optimist, but this is looking like an early Summer 2012 release at the earliest in my opinion. And I'm pissed about it.

A higher up executive needs to step in and say "OK, here's the release date. Get it done by then. Whatever you don't finish, it gets patched in after release. You've had more time to develop this game than most triple-A MMOs are in development. No more excuses. No more iteration. Get. It. Done." If I never had a set date to complete my work by, I'd take my sweet ass time, too.

It's not delayed. Amazon just ran out of copies already. I confirmed via email with customer support that my two copies that I pre-ordered are still being shipped to me next week (Dec. 13).

The invites going out today are not Facebook invites. They are beta "opt-in" invites. Your battle.net account will automatically be flagged. There is no key, as opposed to the Facebook winners who get keys they need to attach to their accounts.

So you have no actual data on how many people are playing in public vs. private games, so you just assume it's 10% in public games for no apparent reason?

And then you say that the people speculating that the number of beta testers playing right now is low due to the actual numbers shown in public games is "bugging you."

Wow I cant believe what I am reading. How can Blizz possibly release a game or even talk about being in a polishing phase when one (of only 5) characters does not even have attack animations for weapons. That is such a huge thing to be missing from a game...

This just seems ridiculous. We have been waiting for the game for YEARS because we were lead to believe that they were taking their time to ensure that D3 is worthy of being the followup to one of the greatest games ever made. Now all of a sudden they are cutting features out of the game and trying to rush a product to market? This does not sound like blizzard anymore :/

I fee that the game has had to sacrifice a lot of what it could have had because the rune system is such a huge bitch to implement.

The game has been in development for so long and there is so much cross-advertising in Blizzard clients that most everyone that wants to play the game knows about it already. If anything I think it would just stir up a lot of shit by putting a up a commercial for a demon-themed game on redneck television.

Early November 2012, perhaps.

Well it is Blizzard's lore and copyright and they choose who is to publish it. So bottom line it falls on their shoulders. I am just waiting for my money back and I will spend it on something else that is tangible, that i can actually have. And who can believe anything they state any more. Fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me. Well i just had all i can take. They can sell it to someone else when it comes out.

Checked my pre-order of Book of Cain yesterday on Amazon - still supposed to be delivered December 15th (free two day shipping) as it has been reading for months. Oh wait - not months - because not too long ago it was being listed as delivered by 11-25-11.

Just checked today and it says to be delivered January 12th of 2012.

I canceled my pre-order. I'm ASSUMING that its in retail stores now or on the 15th as that was the original date of release. And since everyone with a microphone and a voice that speaks about Blizzard games HAS ONE ALREADY - than I would, again, ASSUME that Blizzard and the companies that work for their PR department would be on the ball to make sure those items get out to the general public, in a RESPECTABLE amount of time from those elites, who again, blather on a microphone about their games...

If you haven't guessed: I'm joining the rage train and saying that I am now - OFFICIALLY - pissed off at the way Blizzard handles their PR and Marketing. Diablo 3 has been so mismanaged that the talking monkeys who announce anything about this game, should be told to shut up. But rest assured - I get near DAILY emails about WoW and how I can play for free for a week, 10 days, a month, until I'm level 20, any day that ends in the letter Y, please play WoW again. They never seem to lately miss a beat with that dead pile of shit. Diablo 3? "I wanna keep touching it - I don't wanna let anyone else touch it - blah, blah, RMAH, blah, blah".

If I were the angry know it all person that I am right now - AND, I worked at Blizzard, I would go to my bosses office and say "hey - guess what. You are fucking this shit up bad."

Let me check...blood pressure returning to normal. There. Mission Accomplished.

EDIT: I just want to add one more thing. The reason that I (and would imagine a great many others) get super E-peen pissed off about this crap is that the Book of Cain is representative of a small victory that most of us can share - in the battle for Diablo 3. Its something we can get our hands on, that is timely and relevant to this game and we can feel like we are a part of the action. This may mean nothing to you lucky folk that are dicking around in the beta and telling the rest of us to settle and chill. When they can't even get the release date of this book right - that's worthy of a slap in the PR departments face.

There are a lot of zealous fanbois in here. All of us here love Diablo, but that doesn't mean we're not allowed to criticize it. The sets are VERY reminiscent of WoW style with over the top shoulderpads and pointy things sticking out everywhere. That's cool I guess if that's what they want, but it doesn't really feel like it fits in this universe, at least on the people of sanctuary. Demons and angels are the only place where I feel these kinds of things fit, but to each his(or her) own.
