2 months after launch: Extra tabs only 5 Bobby Bucks!

Another "it's too hard" excuse from Blizzard. Give me a break. 10 character limit, only 3 tabs in the shared stash. They clearly want you selling your items on the RMAH rather than storing your stuff. Or buying extra tabs with Bobby Bucks.

By the way, I'm in the beta. I've got 1 tab nearly full already and I only have 3 characters at the moment. One set of damage gear for my wizard, one set of gold find gear, one set of magic find gear, and miscellaneous weapons and armor that I'm saving for twinking other characters. This is with a max level of 13 and only the first 1/3 of Act 1 in normal mode. People are going to fill their shared stash so quickly in release it's going to be a joke.

why u ask?....well cos the superbowl is watched by over a billion people worldwide, that a billion people viewing the adverts

Not sure where you got the 1 billion people figure but you're overestimating the audience by about 900 million according to wikipedia - http://en.wikipedia....wiki/Super_Bowl

Not surprising considering American Football isn't that popular outside the States and there are "only" about 315 million people in the U.S. in the first place.

Lawl @ stating wikipidia as fact

Huh? You could pretty easily click on the Wikipedia link and check their sources. The "a billion people watch the Super Bowl" thing is a myth.

posted a message on Shooting for first quarter of 2012 - Bashiok
"Shooting for" is such an extremely loose phrase. By Blizzard's standards, it means absolutely nothing. Not to mention in the same thread, Bashiok said "we're in the process of working on some rather large game system changes."

I used to be an optimist, but this is looking like an early Summer 2012 release at the earliest in my opinion. And I'm pissed about it.

You know there is probably ONE guy on the Diablo 3 development team saying "nah, I don't really like this." I would bet on that, one person is throwing a wrench in the spokes so to speak. But who knows I just want the damn game already.

I think they all could be guilty of this. This is their baby and they want it supercalafragilistoespyalagosiously perfect.

A good performer is NEVER satisfied with their performance and can always improve.

However they don't run the company - they just make the product. The real wrench throwing talking monkey is everyone else at Blizz who has two cents and the authority to make it worth another 4 month delay...

This is the problem. They're just going to keep polishing, perfecting, and redesigning until the Sun runs out of hydrogen.

A higher up executive needs to step in and say "OK, here's the release date. Get it done by then. Whatever you don't finish, it gets patched in after release. You've had more time to develop this game than most triple-A MMOs are in development. No more excuses. No more iteration. Get. It. Done." If I never had a set date to complete my work by, I'd take my sweet ass time, too.

Yeah pre-ordering something and expecting it to actually ship on the day it's supposed to be released sure is "acting like a baby wanting candy." Totally.

It's not delayed. Amazon just ran out of copies already. I confirmed via email with customer support that my two copies that I pre-ordered are still being shipped to me next week (Dec. 13).

Also, check Barnes and Noble: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/diablo-iii-blizzard-entertainment/1105870013?ean=9781608870639&itm=1&usri=book of cain

Still being shipping Dec. 13th from them, too.

posted a message on More Diablo 3 Beta Invites!
The invites going out today are not Facebook invites. They are beta "opt-in" invites. Your battle.net account will automatically be flagged. There is no key, as opposed to the Facebook winners who get keys they need to attach to their accounts.

posted a message on Beta Participant Numbers
So you have no actual data on how many people are playing in public vs. private games, so you just assume it's 10% in public games for no apparent reason?

And then you say that the people speculating that the number of beta testers playing right now is low due to the actual numbers shown in public games is "bugging you."

    OK.

posted a message on How much would you pay for a beta key?
$20. Or I'd place a pre-order, which I'm going to do anyway once the CE is announced.
