No, pls no immunities on bosses.

For that to work they would have to rework the game and sets totally.

Yeah, but some of the RG's have AoE abilities that cover an area that is pretty much as large as the room you're referring to... :)

Yep, Blighter came to my mind immediately.

If it would be an "RG arena", it should have at least some pillars and stuff so you can tactically use them to your advantage, and bigger than the Malthael fight place.

I would like to see more affixes that are actually dodge-able. Good that they remove the perma-immunity. About the Tiklandian Visage: Either nerf it or give something similar to a Wizzard or a Barb, so a zDPS WD isn't mandatory to clear 50+ gRifts :)

LOL, WD's do low damage as is (compared to all other classes), Tiki is the only reason they are in GR's as support Chars, if you take even that away from them, well...

What about Laws of Hope? They already nerfed it once, in a way that Long Arm of the Law was not affecting the duration (it was 3s if you have or don't have Long arm passive). Even with Long arm passive and LAws of hope being 8s at that time you had to have over 70% CDr (doable only with a one hander), or a group running the same passive.

I agree that if, but only if the Broken Promises and Obsidian Ring come to live as on PTR you can equip yourself with a lot of defensive gear and "hunting" for CHD only, but it will not work on all classes.

Wizzard will have slow time set, greatly CC-ing stuff, Raekor barb already can "freeze" all enemies around him.

In short, I would prefer buffs to other classes, not nerfs to some of skills on some of the classes.

Actually for high GRifting Serenity and the build around it is dead if they implement that change.

Additionally, only ranged skills/classes will profit from all of that, melee classes that have to be in the midst of it just get punished more and more.

    dont roll attackspeed

Yep, on paper you would just get higher weapon DPS, but you won't hit any harder, nor your dots will do more damage.

So, either 6% to 10%, VIT to 10CDR, or even secondary to % freeze on hit

I assume you have most of the recipes now.

Since you don't go with a 2 Hander, but 2 1 handers consider a build similar to my current one (and my build is still work in progress - it should be Exalted Soul instead of Unity Passive in my case anyway):

    http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/MadTom-2218/hero/54571334

    What you can do/craft is:

    - Crimson belt and pants (so you keep The Crudest boots) - lol, now I see I didn't roll MS on boots to VIT as I wanted...

    - Born chest and weapon (if you have Fist of Azturaq that's the best to combine it with)

Those 2 will give you 20% more CDR - so you get much closer to perma Epiphany (for T6 you don't need Serenity so much). Still if you will be short on Spirit you can use a generator anyway.

    So, let's see:

    - left click (generator, maybe Way of the Hundred fists - any you like will be the best)

    - right click Cyclone strike (either freeze rune or the range rune)

    - 1. dashing strike - Cold rune (dodge, to give you survivability)

    - 2. Blinding Flash - replenishing light (for more spirit)

    - 3. Epiphany - Desert Shroud for 50% damage reduction or Insight for even more spirit (since I recommend generator before you have enough CDR, go with Desert Shroud)

    - 4. Exploding Palm - Strong spirit for even more spirit, Impending doom for biggest hit (but wouldn't force it for T6 - usually great if you have Fist of Aztura'q), Shocking Grasp to affect as many mobs as possible with one Exploding palm

    Passives in the above case:

    - Exalted soul/Unity

    - Sixth sense

    - Beacon of Ytar

    - Harmony/Unity

Sweeping wind is not a great damage dealer, it is usually used for the 8 spirit regen (you might put that instead of Dashing strike), for even more spirit.

    Leg gems recommendations:

    1. Bane of the Trapped (even if not lvl 25 the exploding clones proc it - you see Taunted over enemies when the Sunwuko clones explode)

    2. Molten Wildebeest Gizzard - gives the much needed survivability

    3. Actually free to choose here, but I recommend Poison gem (lvl 25 at least for 10% damage boost), Bane of the Powerful, lvl 25 Gogok of swiftness for even more CDR

Taeguk is to "clumsy" if you don't have a well done rhythm with your spenders, and/or Inna for practically free Sweeping Wind.

    Anyway, good luck.

If you have got Cindercoat, you can try Lashing tail kick with any good 2H, similar to this http://www.diablofans.com/builds/30827-quin69-gr50-furnace-setup

    Gonna update Diary now, too.

posted a message on Anybody tested Focus+Restraint for pet build on PTR?

I managed to enter PTR, and got the rings. One of them was INT/VIT/AS/sck, so not the best variant.

Still, I cleared GR41/42 on first try (Tiki+ non-ancient SMK+3Aug+2Cain+Vigilante Belt) - with a lot of time left, even considering the fact I was dying like crazy from Thunderstorm - so Xeph ammy seems to be a must for higher GR's.

A GR43 I was actually in time, but then I got Orlash, who now does clones, waller, and half screen fire breath laser clear (pets didn't hold very long). I had to leave after that, but believe GR45 shouldn't be an issue at all, even without ancient SMK. BTW, I saw a dude with some strange combo having cleared GR49 with a pet build, so there are options, and that's OK.

Also, can somebody confirm pet CHD is capped at 50%, or is that just old info?

posted a message on PTR 2.2 - Barbarian G40+ IK Pure Pet Build (Video)

Guys, Mikhail and Det0x did a great job.

Mikhail wanted to show proof of concept (he does that very long as far as I know) showing how much damage the ancients do alone. He should have removed leap and put on nothing for primary skill though just for consistency.

Det0x on the other hand pushed it to the limit with Broken promises ring and implementing Whirlwind (as I would like to do it myself once 2.2 comes live), and it is a nice glimpse for what is possible with the IK set (actually the rend/WW set will have to bring really a lot to the table to beat this...).

Let's see what changes Blizz will implement on everything.

Once again thx to both of you for the great work - I just can't enter PTR to test out some stuff myself, sadly.

I am using a ponysader, I have done grift 36 but still waiting for a templar relic so I can use unity. Also awaiting a ramaladnis for the furnace.

Other than that anyone got any tips on min-maxing it a little?

Switch Mirinae to a Gogok of Swiftness for more CDR (Mirinae proc rate is not so high anyway for Pony build), also the amulet is not a lot of help, as you anyway try to be out of reach with sader build. Try to get a Phys/CC/CD one, even CDR on it wouldn't be bad.

You got a really nice Furnace, I wonder what you rolled to 10% DMG... It would be great if you would have had CDR instead.

Judgement you can replace for Shield Glare: Divine Verdict and see what works better for you.

Well, currently on PTR it's 150% + DMG if I'm correct. Looking at this, it seems it could be really a nice set of rings for Tiki+SMK (even if they lower it to 100%, below that I don't think they will go).

focus bonus affects only mana spenders. Since non of the pets uses Mana when summoned it won't affect it.

Damn, didn't see the new tooltips, thx anyway.

So Oculus+Broken Promises will be the new way to go?

In a pet build like mine, I'm free to choose any rings I want, so did somebody by any chance had the luck to enter PTR and try out something like my set-up and test the 2 before mentioned rings?

If yes, are the results as good as I expect them to be?

posted a message on Micro Transactions Coming - Commentary

As long as I will be able to earn Platinum ingame, and for that buy more stash space (even if it is up to a 1 month grind time for one stash tab - but probably it will be much less) it's kinda OK.

I don't defend Blizz, also I assume, that us who bought RoS would get some Platinum coz of that fact, and we would be able to buy at least one stash tab "for free" and then grind for Platinum.

Additionally, since the PTR is on US servers, do we have any reports that for Asian players there is already some Microtransaction function to test? So, we could make ourselves a clearer picture on the implementation?

Still, looking at all that together, it might be that you will be able to buy only up to 5 stash tabs anyway (what we currently have) in that China F2P version, so it almost doesn't matter arguing about it anymore, till we see at least some of those features "live"
