Playing S5 at live server to get a portrait + a new stash tab + new pets + some more cosmetics.. may be a reason .. These wont take much time and I think the players will be mainly at NSeason side with 2.4..
When I see a lot of players at PTR season I thought I missed something but I see that the only main reason is to give feedback to Blizz..

There are 2 classical solo Sunwuko WOL Build currently:
I mainly play sup Monk for some seasons.
Last week I created a new Sunwuko Build with no mellee attack skill ; no Cindercoat ; no CoE or Focus+Restraint; no Spirit Guards...
A totally new approach for Sunwuko Monk with (almost) always up Epiphany as if a sup Monk..
I managed to do GR102+ last week at 2nd attempt and started to farm GR98+ easily.
I am very sure some much better players can easily do top leaderboard GRs with this build...

If a sup Monk uses this dagger in a GR group, does it increase the damage of all group players or only valid for Monk attacks?

Since there is no more season only item drops , why do people play S5 at PTR other than to report any problem to Blizz ?

use http://www.d3planner.com/ and change the stats on your item(s) to see the difference of dmg values.
btw it was a bad advice to use Area Dmg % over elemental %.
