Bill Roper. he did do the voice of diablo on two seperate occasions.

And since we're only concerned with the voice (unless you have an actor who's done plastic surgery in order to lok like Diablo), criterias don't need to be as specific.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
who else could do the voice, diablo's voice if legendary. take his laugh sound fro mthe opening of diablo speed it up and its the sound the fallen make when they die.

I say no live-action, and not a ton of recognizable names.
Mark Hamill should do the voice of someone because, well, he is an amazing voice-actor, and any Diablo movie would need as many of those as possible, since its an amazing game. It deserves an amazing movie.
Really though, I'd prefer they didn't make a Diablo movie.

Yea but if they couldn't get him to do the voice, my second choice would have to be Brad Dourrif because he can have a pretty fricking evil voice when he wants to (although it may not be deep enough).
I agree about the non-recognizable names. Except I hardly know any recognizable people, let alone the inknown ones.
I imagine Walter Gorden (name misspelled on purpose) for Diablo, that would be weird... some Hellsing fans said he actually voiced Alucard somewhere, but I never found where exactly, even though I dug all the voices in a lot countries, so I guess they have seriously confused something.
he did? When? Crispin Freeman does the voice of Alucard, in the anime, and the OVA as far as i know.

I don't know. A bunch of Russian Hellsing fans told me that. And that forum is gone, can't even track them down. I was googling for a long time and didn't find anyone named "Walden" voicing anyone in Hellsing.
He still had a cool voice, though. A bit too Darth Vayderish, though, I guess.
i guess the usually guys could do it, Frank Welker, Jim Cummings, David Warner, Michael Dorn.

i meant the usual guys if you want great, booming voices, the kind DIablo should have. these guys also do softer voices, but loud villianous and heroic character voices is where they shine.

thats cool. not sure how that helps this discussion though, unless you were to suggest that some of the people who did the voices for some ofthe chracters were to do a voice for a character, most like a demon, unless the movie is CGI in which case they could do a voice for almost any character, prehaps even reprise their roles.

Yeah, I always do that. Those people are pretty experienced. Except they are mostly in the cartoon/comic area, I don't like that much, but I never heard them, who knows.
they have all done work in the Baldur's Gate series. that i think was their finest work.
David Warner - Joneleth Irenicus
Jim Cummings - Minsc
Michael Dorn - Sarevok
Frank Welker - Various voices
i mention more than one for voices as its possible a diablo movie could be CGI, similar to that of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, thus voices are what actors provide.
prehaps thats what we should decide on first, CGI or live action, im kinda stuck between both, each one has its advantages and disadvantages, yet both would ultimately porduce an awesome movie
-CGI like Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.
-Live action like Lord of The Rings.
i think this would impact on which actors we suggest. of course with CGI, i dont think they would go with relative unknowns like they can with Live action. i mean Orlando Bloom was relatively unknown before LOTR, and look at him now.

well either a diablo movie would be live action (with a bit of CGI) like LOTR, i.e with real actors not CGI like Gollum was, or it would be fully CGI, like FF VII: AC, i.e voice acted.

I wouldn't want one, they are not that far into computer graphics yet. King Kong looked fake.
