Anyone else watch lastnights Champions League semi-final and see Barcelona crash out against Chelsea?
I personally think Barcelona can only blame themselfs, for a start they missed a few chances in the first leg and in the end didn't get an away goal. This leg at home they had roughly 80% possession, chelsea got a man sent off, they went 2-0 up & they even missed a penalty.
I'm sorry but when you consider all that, there is no excuse what so ever for not seeing that match out.
I will be also intrested in what the media make of Messi's performances over the 2 legs. He gave the ball away at the halfway line in the 1st leg which Chelsea then scored from and in this 2nd leg he missed the penalty and he still has never scored against Chelsea.
The reason I bring this up is because if this was Cristiano Ronaldo I think everyone knows he would be getting slated everywhere, so it will be intresting to see how it develops.
Despite being a Man Utd Supporter I was so happy when when Torres scored because I had 13/2 odds on a draw and it paid back £50!
Chelsea played this game brilliantly and Petr Cech was simply fantastic between the posts. It was hard for them to continue after Terry got red card but ever since Di Matteo took over the team I feel like it's a whole new team. Everyone is willing to put themselves 110% into everything and I clearly feel that Chelsea deserved to win this leg.
The referee was really good in this game. It was clearly a red card, and it was clearly a penalty! Chelsea defense was sensational in this game but I don't know how they can copy that in the final with so many key members in a ban. I think they are going all out in offense in the next game with so many defenders in ban.

Lol @ clearly a penalty. Barcelona lacks at least 2 yellow cards.
Im a Chelsea fan and to draw to the worlds best with 10men and giving away a penalty is amazing. Gl Munich hope to see u in the finals. Oh and no JT to miss a penalty things are looking good.
Barcelona was pretty much screwed from the first match.
Barcelona had the series in the bag up 2-0 with an 11 vs 10 man advantage and about to head into half time. I think barce was sleeping thinking they had done enought o go into half looking for the game ending goal, but Ramirez put a touch on the ball that his brazilian ancestors would have been proud of. Messi again had a bad performance as he missed *thus far* the most significant penalty of this European campaign, this along with his give away in the 1st leg that leead to drogbas goal and the media doesn't need to paint him as the goat for the loss he is the goat. I have always felt messi is amazing, but recieves far too much credit because his teamates are what make him what he is because he is not nearly shine as bright with Argentina. Chelsea played with a lot of heart and for their victory i commend them.
Ya im a Madrid fan and hopefully we will see Chelsea in Munich.

Are you saying that it wasn't a penalty? My club is Chelsea and I couldn't disagree with that decision by the referee
Well when you start having 9 players defending in the box most of the 2nd half of the game, obviously Barcelona won't be able to break through with their players. I'm a huge Barca fan and I was crushed when that last goal by Torres was kicked in. I didn't even see it coming, my eyes were so focused on the Chelsea box rather than midfield. Well played by Chelsea though. It was an intense match and I am now glad that Bayern got in the finals because I want them to take it all. I hate Chelsea and Real Madrid. FORCA BARCA!

Lol at messi penalty and yay at Torres scoring
I think it was cleary a strikers tackle and even if he did dive a little, he was asking for trouble sticking his leg out so can have no complaints.
Real Madrid react to this mornings result:
