If you wan't to believe that it's impossible to stop, go ahead and believe. But you really can't know if you don't try it. I'm pretty sure I can stop whenever I want. It's just do I wan't to.
My body doesn't NEED nicotine to function. It never did, and it never will. This is just a question of willpower, mate.
And if you don't smoke, please, save me from you lectures about addiction. It's one of those things you really have to experience, rather than just simply hearing/reading somewhere and think you've mastered it and know everything about it.
You're completely right, I shouldn't be saying things about addiction if I haven't even tried any of them. But I can't stand people that do and pisses me to see them crying about their mistakes and not wanting to die. That's unacceptable and stupid to think that we're actually trying to save them from themselves.
Addictions can vary in a lot of ways. You got your addicts that will sit there and shake until they get what they need and you got the people that think they can quit anytime they want.
I know alot of kids in my high school that will say that they can stop anytime they want to, but week after week they continue to do it. They don't show any signs of addiction and probably aren't physically addicted. Yet even when you ask them to, no matter what, not do that drug for just a while, they can't stand but do it. Some say that it just pleasures them so much that they see no reason to stop. While that may not be a physical addiction I would say that it's an emotional addiction. YOU need that to get your high or that pleasure that YOU want even if your BODY doesn't.
I'm not saying that your either of those, I'm just pointing out that there is more than one kind of addiction. I'll admit that I have never had a true addiction, (except to a game or two;) ) so I probably don't know all I could about it, I just know what I see from my peers.

Only once they understand will they know what the truth really is.
This is my Tale.
Try making your own Leap Of Faith... You might save more than just your life.
Strawman? Not so much anymore, I'm just stating my opinion.
It's not always there, chaos. It is in America, thanks to the influences on the media (no smoking ads and so on). In Europe, even less smoke. But in a country where they do have ads and smoking is "supported", more people smoke. How do you explain that, except for media control? Media defines what people will do and how many of them will do it. Not all people have the intelligence to oppose the media, and they are called the mass.
Still have a choice  If we didn't I'd be smoking, you'd be smoking, along with everyone else.

The people who don't oppose the media are not controlled, merely influenced by the media. The people who oppose it are not subject to any influence from it.
That's what I think. I mean the consequences of smoking are not to your advantage, so if you can stop, why don't you?

Plasma pong is fun, but there's only a certain amount of time you can say "plasma pong".

I am an alt mindset along with most people who don't smoke or smoke for other reasons. The media is not directed at us.
