I really couldn't come up with anything to release, and I was sick of feeding you scraps, so I just decided to leave it till next weekend. but then, I suddenly got a very busy week, and am doubting whether i can get another episode done by next weekend. sucks, I know, but the semester is coming to an end so i have a hell of a lot of final important assessments to do. But once holidays come it'll be awesome

can you explain the origin to this forum lore a little bit more?
That depends on how far back in time you want to go.
Before life began, before the world had form, three golden goddesses descended upon the chaotic land of www.diablofans.com (formerly known as www.diablo3.com ). They were Din, the Goddess of Power, Nayru, the Goddess of Wisdom, and Farore, the Goddess of Courage.
Din, with her strong flaming arms, cultivated the land to create the earth. Nayru poured her wisdom onto the earth to give the spirit of law to the world. Farore's rich soul created all life forms who would uphold the law.
These three great goddesses returned to the heavens, leaving behind the golden sacred Triforce.
The Triforce was sealed in the Sacred Realm connected to www.diablofans.com. The legends also say that whoever holds the Triforce can make their wishes come true, but only if he has the perfect balance between the three forces: Power, Wisdom, and Courage. If someone without the right balance lays his or her hand on the Triforce, it will split into three pieces. The one touching the Triforce will hold the force that he or she most believes in, and the two other parts will be given to persons chosen by destiny to carry the Triforce-part that they represent. The persons who carry the Triforce or a part of it can be recognized by the Triforce symbol on their hands.
This is the legend passed down by the Royal family.
I love LOZ. I would have gone with a more Diabloesque story, but in truth, I have forgotten it. There is a story somewhere that says how Sanctuary was formed. Which I really need to find, as we are in Sactuary, not Hyrule. So really the above paragraphs, although epic in scope and nature are actually rather inapplicable.
Also since the founding members of this site, of whom there happened to be three of (Don't you just love the use of the number 3 in religion), Umaro, Mockery and DeMiNe0 (who has since left now) are all, to the best of my knowledge males, that would make them gods, not goddesses, that makes the first line even more redundant. We only have one goddess here at the moment, Aphrodite.
But since the Diablo world aka Sanctuary mirrors our world in many ways, prehaps different groups having different views on the creation of the world is not that big a deal, infact I think it is present in Diablo to some extent. I don't recall the Barbarbians sharing the necromancer's belief the sphere of the world rests on the world dragon Trang-Oul's back.
But i must get ahold of that text (assuming I am not mistaken and am thinking of something else, which in all likelihood I am) and remind myself about the various creation theory about Sanctuary.
Aeons ago - site created -3000 (Really 2005) - The first humanoids appear. Most die out (Leave). -2000 (Really 2006) - The Golden Age. Then you kinda get a BC/AD thing going, or rather www.diablo3.com / www.diablofans.com)) -
Oh thought you might like this, it's a small little series of timelines I complied, there are some lore issues with a few of them, so don't go taking them as the definiative line on how things went down, as some are pretty rough. They occasionally contradict themselves at times or are at odds with later released games. Be for warning, it does use the JSL ancient font. Thats the one that looks like really, really old books in latin, like the bible from the 4th Century AD. If you don't have it Ithink it just shows up in Times New Roman or something.
The note about SICK adjustments is in terms with the novel Carloseus was writing. And I think the RPG threads use it too. It is designed to put all dates from all timelines into one continuous timeline based on the Diablo timeline, and in conjunction with the novel being set in the year 1498. It's a really long story. Don't ask.

hmm, but Winston seems like the kind of guy that would come back.
can you explain the origin to this forum lore a little bit more?
No, Sofa's not dead literally, or metaphorically. But on the forums he is dead, totally inactive. And he's like Winston's buddy. Winston, posts so seldom now that it's like he's dying. And I've often diagnosed him with Lyme disease in introduction threads. I assure, it's all well established.
Alright, I'll make sure to give you something this weekend.
Hey, what do people prefer? A whole episode released at once or bits of an episode released slowly? I'm guessing bits at a time is better, so you feel like you're getting more and it keeps you entertained for longer lol.
Yeah, I think I'll do that from now on. I'll release each part of an episode as I complete them. yeah?
Whats the difference between half an episode and one part of an episode?
hmm, you don't seem to really konw what you want lol. I think it'll be good if I release the next episode in parts just to test it out and see which method you like best.
edit: okay, then whats the difference between two halves of an episode and episode I and II? Each episode is part of the one big storyline, either way you will still have to wait for the next release to get the rest of the story.

The only difference I see of the "half vs part" thing is that half is two pieces while part could be three or more pieces. The three or more deal would drive me even more insane, what with taking weeks to finish the episode...
okay, then whats the difference between two halves of an episode and episode I and II? Each episode is part of the one big storyline, either way you will still have to wait for the next release to get the rest of the story.
Would you really rather wait weeks for a whole episode, or be able to get something every few days? Because if I wait for the whole episode to be completed, then it means that most of the episode could be done and I'll be just waiting to finish the last panel or something. If I complete bits of it sooner then I may as well give them to you.
We'll just test it for now, and see how it goes.
edit: yeah, by 'part' i mean like the Part A, Part B, Part C things.
Honestly I can't read a thing of Elfen's post. It blends right in with the background...
Must be something with the version (scheme) your using, because it's in the font colour that the Carbon Fibre scheme uses. Which is a tanish colour. I copied the text from a word document, but if I do it without changing to colour it will show us as black text on a black background for me, and everyone else who uses the newest scheme, didn't know anyone used other schemes. Well in either case, someone was going to end up with a hard to read post, unless I actually typed out all of the reference or rather direct quotation from Zelda. And that is a lot of words.
Wow, you went all out in that post o.O

While this comic also taken place in the forums itself, it is also present in the Diablo game world (Like many other fan fictions around this site, particularly any literature regarding the Order of the Silver Inferno Crusading Knights. I would need to confur with Atrumentis as to the exact date in which his comic is set, as while due to event portrayed in said comic, it would appear as though the comic is set in the year 2008, but there is no record of any date even remotely close to that in the Diablo world.
The only dates we have end at 1250 (The year in which Diablo 1 was set). That is a bit of a jump, but not impossible, the Novel and RPG thread and are set in the years 1498 and 1500 respectively. So this comic could indeed be set in 2008. Though based on how our world went, I would be ever so grateful if Atrumentis could have the world retain it's gothic look. I loathe the modern buildings with their over the top trying to be better than every one else crap. What happened to just making awesome dark marble buildings with grotesques and gargoyles on them, Like cathedrals in England, France and Germany (and possibly Italy too).
Oh and a further, point, you do know who I am don't you? When have I ever in regards to a project such as this, made a post that was but all of a few words. I, like Lewis Carroll's version of Humpty Dumpty have a fondness for words, though I can't say I have ever changed a meaning of a word, so that it means whatever I want it to mean, like Humpty Dumpty does most frequently. Not that I am truly complaining, as it made for a most interesting character to say the least, a much more dominating and intriguing character that the nusery rhyme version on which he was loosely based.
I am sure it is easy to post "oh hey go here", but he ask a question, and in true Elfen Lied fashion, that is me, not show/manga before anyone asks, I answered his question, though like I said, I would have prefered to supply a more Diablo-esque answer. Or rather an answer pertaining more to the Diablo world, than the Legend of Zelda world.
Anyway like I said, it would just be an awful death for anything except glorious battle. (In the comic I mean.)
Arcadian, I've fought countless times, yet I've never met an adversary who could offer me what we Spartans call "A Beautiful Death." I can only hope, with all the world's warriors gathered against us, there might be one down there who's up to the task. Stelios, 300

Yeah, I think I'll do that from now on. I'll release each part of an episode as I complete them. yeah?
Ultimately, that would depend on the size, scope and nature of the episode. If lots is going on you could spread it over a few weekends, teasing us, in true blizzard fashion with the released of each new part, but if there isn't to much going on it would be better to released that episode as one bigger part.
Manga's does this often, (as does anime which is easier to pick up on). You might have one chapter titled Club Murder, followed by Sword Dancer 1, Sword Dancer 2 and lastly Sword Dancer 3. Yes, I used Hellsing Volume 1 as an example. CLub M was a short little almost stand alone type mission, while the 3 Sword Dancer chapters introduced Alucard's rival, Father Alexander Anderson the Paladin, and had a much larger and more involved mission.
Diablo, and other games sort of do it as well, Radamant was a small quest and could easily be done in a single episode of a comic, where as something like the interconnected quests of Making a Horadric Staff, destroying the snake altar, locating Horazon's jorunal, finding which is the correct tomb of Tal Rasha is much larger and if you wanted to make it all one, you would be better to release parts of it at a time as opposed to one big release.
I believe I have mentioned this before, but since Stonebreaker got his own bio made, I feel other should have the same honour bestowed upon them, esp. the main characters. And alternatively forenotes and appendices can be made. Some people are new here, much of what goes on here has incredible backstory, that for them, might need explaining.

Alright, I'll think of something else.
Maybe half episodes?
I couldn't stand a "half episode". I would not be able to read it untill the second half came out. It would litterally drive me insane.
Like I suggested before, what about another bio? Acid could use one. Or Elfen? Or Jetrall?
