So the spoilers from the guide say Thorns reflects 24352% if you wear it on every slot.
It shows % and not just a flat number.
If it is a percent and the mob hits for 100 it's going to take 24352 http://media.diablofans.com/images/news/2012/may/guide/IMG_0101.jpg
Hits for 26k and it takes over 6 million...
Well I figured Witch Doctor with Fierce Loyalty might be work.
And that is only 1 of 6 affixes on an item. The other 5 can be anything else.
It doesn't mean you only had thorns, you just had them as one of the affixes on every piece of gear you have.
Reflect Damage to Attacker (Amulet,2 Belt, Chest Armor, Shoulders, Shield)
2544% x 5 Reflect Damage to Attacker (Armor, Offhand, Ring)
Assuming "Armor" includes Helmet, Boots, Bracers, Legs, Gloves
1454% x 7 (2 Rings no Offhand because of shield)
So sorry I meant 22898%
Of course the Legendary Weapon Nailbiter has Thorns too. So it might be nearly 24k when all is said and done.
Well someone should have proof read it.
There's another cut/paste screw up with Corpse Spiders Witch Doctor skill boost as well.
Wish I could get a job doing terrible work and still have it printed and sold. lol

From my experience most guides look like that. It's probably a combination of writers having no clue of the matter and being in a big hurry. According to Blizzard they were still working on stuff like items until a few weeks ago. The game guides also had to get printed and delivered to shops before like a week ago. For all we know, the majority of the guide could've been written in the matter of a few days.
Just saying... I wouldn't get away with that at my work. lol
A guide being legit has nothing to do with a guide having small errors.
Those bradyguides are legit, legit crap. They are completely littered with errors, and the info they do have that's correct is basically common knowledge.

I'm still wondering if these guides are legit.
If you did have it maxed, you would be lacking in everything else, which would cause issues.

And I didn't even include gems.
2544 vs 2544% is not exactly a small error if you ask me. lol

Well since it's only about 40k max with gems, about 60k with Tough as Nails, the only Diablo that might one shot himself is Normal Mode lol.
But that's why I asked right? It's fun to theorize.
I mean I still think that according to the guide we can get 100% crit (unless there's a cap) is silly. But who knows!
yeah it seems that way with crit, which i agree, is a bit silly! 2 days until all is revealed though

100% crit is not silly.
Skills lack crit
Buffs lack crit
No stat yields crit
You need perfect crit affixes on every item to get 100%.
A QUADRILLION MAGIC FIND is worthless if you can't kill shit!
