2assorted babe-a-licious monsters to distract me from the berserker gnawing my head off. (this seems like a tactic mephisto would implement, right? I mean come on, basically small-scale liliths)
3something that can grapple with melee-oriented class (i guess it's effected by strength and maybe some god-of-war button mashing)
4something that can possess spellcasters (fight off the hold or breakout by willpower and button-mashing, and the spirit can use your moves)
Big bad horned demons!
I missed them so much in Diablo 2! I'd definitely want them in Diablo 3!
i think from what i heared that there will be hordes of demons while fighting bosses/mini-bosses too, so armies of horned demons while fighting a major boss would be extremely tense!
agreed. Id prefer more monsters that look so evil you want to hide under a blanket. I mean the other monsters used more often lately are cool too, but this is Diablo, not Zelda. Give us demons that look like theyre actually diablos nephews or related somehow. devil-like Beasts that want to rip your eyes out, possess you, crazy changing eerie voices and such creepy things.
In ADOM when you entered a dark room, it sometimes said "You are likely to be eaten by a Grue" and if it happened which was really rare.. i think it was insta kill
Grues make an appearance in the Dungeons & DragonsRPG, appearing as a species of intelligent, evil elementals from the Inner Planes, presented as an alternative to the usual neutral, nonsentient summonable elementals of D&D. Aside from a reference to their being "born in places of darkness" on the Inner Planes and a general sense of shapeless menace, they have very little in common with their Infocom namesakes, despite having been introduced soon after the first Zork games and presumably having been inspired by them. They reappear as vicious creatures which attack PCs from out of the dark, the portrait of a Grue in the monster manual shows the creature with a bloody mouth full of knife-like fangs, presumably having just eaten an adventurer. The same creature also existed in the Gateway Bestiary, written for the second edition of the game, but was not at that time given the name "Grue".
Grues show up repeatedly in the roguelike game Ancient Domains of Mystery; originally only existing as an in-joke, "You are likely to be eaten by a grue" being one of the stock phrases one can encounter while traveling through the dark, eventually the classic Zork "lurking grue" was added to the game. Present in the dungeons but very rare, someone who is suffering under a serious bad-luck curse ("doomed") has a chance of being "eaten by a grue" at any time while moving through the dark. "Elemental grues" were also introduced as actual, very high-level monsters one could fight, in the style of the D&D grues.
I personally would like to see huge succubus and some imps surrounding two or three succubus so its a fight between you and quick small damage and large damage but slow attacks so its hard to kill makes you think of what skill to use and makes you retreat only to come back and retreat again and again until you find someone to help you and you rape their little assholes. Then and only then will i die for diablo 3 nah jk>.> i find stuff like i've said to be more interesting than some small horde of monsters that attacks only when they come on screen and don't follow me. i want monster to follow me through the thick of trees and through the windy deserst and end up right in fron of the town only to be stopped by its gates and when you leave those gates you will only be saddened to find EVEN MORE have swarmed due to one messenger whom voluntarily left the party of demons to alert other close by demons of the dinner waiting at the gate....That id die for
Oh and i dont want these "hordes" to be small fallen whom follow without their shaman...if there is a shaman with the original horde i want that to follow and these monster must be a great deal more powerful than the stupid annoying fallen from d2..they seemed to nly do damage at lvl 1-3

Not even Death will save you from Diablo Bunny's Cuteness!
I love so many creatures in the Diablo series, but I particularly like the Imps in act V, not because they are cool, but because they are annoying as hell, and you have to be creative to catch them. Killing each one is satisfyingly because they run so much.
The old monsters in Diablo 1 were all cool, and most were remade. And I hope they keep that going.
One thing I would like to see would be monsters like Vampires, Werewolves, whatever, Things that can only be killed with certain moves. I also really REALLY want night and day features in Diablo 3. Where certain monsters come at at night, and some come out only during a certain hour and are more rare.

Alot of games do this, I was surprised that WoW didnt. As such, i could see D3 go either way. But yes, itd be nice if Blizzard would set up a nocturnal and diurnal system that actually affected something.

Well it is totally like Blizzard to take someones good idea and make it ten million times better and then put it into the game. I can't wait to see what they do. No matter what I'm going to love Diablo 3. I just can't wait for it. I've been a Blizzard fan for as long as I can remember. My dad got Lost Vikings after it got a little popular and then got Warcraft: Orcs VS Humans when it first came out. I've loved Blizzard every since.

And if we are referring to other monsters I'd go with Minotaurs.
