Welll everyone can whine and moan about a 20 min gameplay trailer and there personal opionon but. One Fact about Diablo3 that is non arguable
is the ZOMBIE WALL
I MEAN
WHATEVER DESIGNER THOUGHT OF THAT
SERIOUSLY PLEASE GIVE THAT MAN/WOMAN A PROMOTION
I WILL MAKE A WITCH DOCTOR JUST FOR IT
JESUS
IT"S SO VISCOUS
Well, it is just a twist on an existing idea (a wall that does damage + obstructs). Bone wall does the latter and fire wall does the former. Zombie wall does both.
You know, I wouldn't doubt they had this idea for D2, but that they didn't implement it because it would contradict the Necromancer needing corpses to summon undead. Looking at it that way, it seems pretty likely that (put together with the 'vanishing corpses' thing) any summoning in Diablo 3 will be able to be done without 'materials'--at least not those kinds of materials.
firewall in diablo 1 was amazing, you could fill an entire room with them parallel to each other and see everyone die with infra vision
I remember dat. Though it was much cooler IMO to just charge in there and chain lightning and have like 20 lightnings coming out of your body in a circle.
I wonder if the larger bosses jus walk over the walls? Maybe why the WD didnt use it at the end of the video
Hm, good question.
I wouldn't know because I never played a Necromancer focusing on bone spells, but I'm guessing it's going to be similar to how bosses in Diablo 2 react to being inside bone prisons/walls (do they just attack them?)

It would make sense; although I think if they were scripted to walk over the walls then they would have demonstrated that. It will be interesting to see what happens.
Yup. I got it a week after it released. My only beef with fire wall was it was super powerful maxed out but mobs could walk right though it and you had to position yourself correctly to be effective. Got kinda hard when running from big D. That, and i remember it killing my FPS back then lol.

Omg, you just gave me a cool vision. What if bosses (like the Thousand Pounder) would just bash the Zombie Wall with his hammer and the zombies would go flying everywhere? Awesome :). It would look like when Sauron owned those Elves in LoTR : Fellowship of the Ring with his mace.

Finally a wall that actually is cool!
fire wall =/
bone wall =/
zombie wall
I dare them to make that.
It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.

Just under the earth's crust there must be another layer of ZOMBIES!
It's time to welcome the other 80% of the color wheel to a Diablo game.

But would you have to pay $3.99 per minute to use it?
Cheers,
SmashBoy (wants that skill in real life)

Hellish pit wall
it involves the witch doctor opening a burning pit of lava into the ground and watch the enemies burn to death!
