wtf? it didnt becouse the art felt just right, isnt it obvious????
While I understand that some people may not like how D3 looks (and like how DII looks)... there are 2 ways to express dissatisfaction: intelligent and unintelligent. The majority of responses I have seen here, which are all DII fans, not DI fans or whatever, are very primitive and mostly expressed in bad language, lack of logic, and a bit of necrophilia.
I was just wondering if anyone else thought that the Heros seem to appear unecessarily bright. I don't mean that the character models are too vivid and colorfull... but rather it looks like there is always a spotlight shining right above them. It makes them "pop" out of the environment slightly, giving the impression that they don't exactly belong there.
I think it would be nice if shadows moved accross their bodies as they pass by various light sources. They would flicker under torchlight and become shrouded in near-complete darkness in rooms without any light. Perhaps this is a no-brainer and Blizzard has planned to do this all along but for some reason could not demonstrate it during the grand unveiling. I would like to think so. It would be a shame if all the characters were lit up as if they were in direct sunlight all the time...
Since the game has moved to 3D, you might think it was only natural to expect the visibility of the character models to be influenced by lights in the game environment. Can anyone think of any reasons why a fully lit character would be necessary choice?
(on a side note... i appreciate all the hard work the artists have put into the game already.. I was just wondering if anyone else noticed this brightness issue as well and if there were any reasons why Blizzard might keep it that way?)
All you did was give him a tan and change his hair color...
So your saying you want your characters to be more "Pretty"?

oh, i just fail to see who you are referring to, sry
Honestly I don't recall so many people bitching about Diablo II's art before it launched. I don't know what is it with this generation that people suddenly want the game catered to their individual needs. Just sit back, shut the fuck up, and wait til you see the final game before you make judgments.
Kinda what he said. It hasnt even been a week since launch and sooo many complaints. If the game was coming out tomorrow there would be alot to say about the direction of the game.
And why shouldn't he have a tan with the way he dresses?
I'm sorry you went through all that trouble for the terrible image you posted to add more detail to his body but did you ever consider that we won't see him naked at all because he wears these things called "Armor"

why would we wait any longer anyway
blizzard already published their new art policy, we, costumers, want them to know our opinion, simple
the gameplay DEMO video is, afterall, a demonstration of what the game is supposed to be
alot can change until release people say? well, lets make sure some of the changes are teh right ones
True that.
By the way nice to see someone not appreciating LoD. The game was a piece of shit, ruined Diablo II for me.

Lock it down!
Oh well excuse the hell out of me... he has a pony tail.
He still couldn't of went grey headed and grew hair in 20 years?
this post is amazing at spotting people who don't even bother to watch any videos d3 related.

Go away 10 year old.:spam::D
That's a good point, the famale characters would look like crap 20 years later.

Maybe he's been in a nursing home sense then and hasn't gotten out a lot.
