Hello everyone it's my first time posting here I was just wondering I can do T5 pretty well but not T6 what on my build should I change or upgrade to make me a better t6 Viable wizard.
It surprises me that you're able to do T5 "well" with that build of armor.
First off: You have Aughild bracers, but no second or third piece for the bonuses...? It's the single strongest craftable set. Meanwhile you've gone for 100 all ress and 20% life on Ashearas. Yea, no. Get aughilds.
Get a proper neck (no mainstat?).
Why do you focus on life on hit? It's a pretty weak stat for wizards after the mirrorball nerf (the second and third missile no longer procs any other effect than damage+the conflag dmg if using conflag as you are).

Agreed. The helm can be changed to Auglid. Alternatively, the OP can swap Andariel for the helm and swap the Asheara's shoulder for Auglid. For the main hand, a slightly lower dps Burning Axe of Sankis will do better than the Gift of Silaria due to the +fire elemental bonus. I'm also surprise that the OP wiz can farm T5 efficiently with it's current setup. However, I do find that the magefist/cindercoat has really nice rolls so that's good.
How do you do T5 comfortably with those gears You probably got carried by your party lol. Drop Ashera, craft Aughilds and maybe Cains if you want some extra dps. Get a better weapon (TF, Burning Axe,..), Andariel's Helm with fire damage. Puzze Ring for a SoJ. U will lose quite a few of sheet dps but don't let that stop you from using SoJ. Find a better belt, preferably Harrington or WH. Get %MM damage on your belt and pants
Unity will basicly carry you there, yes. Depending on how good your strongarm bracers are, I'd get a strong cindercoat (+20% fire dmg), and use aughilds bracers instead of the Strongarms. Sure, the passive damage is not as big as the proc on strongarm, but it's *passive* and doesn't require any upkeep at all. Means you get to use something else instead of Black Hole (Familiar sparkflint for +10% dmg? Force weapon for +20%?). I'd also question why you're running with Magic Missile in a WoW build. You shouldn't need a generator at all, and could just spend the slot further empowering your explosive blasts or getting a defensive.

You don't need a generator. MM Conflag with a Mirrorball is just the best single target damage in our arsenal and there is no point not using it. It doesn't hinder EB spam.
Sorry for the delay in the response and thanks for all of the constructive criticism. First I solo a lot but also have one of my friends that I play with as well and yes I do better with him there as in faster times clearing. I also have a Mara's Kaleidoscope and Countess Joule's Cameo but the mara's rolled strength because of my barb got the drop and the countess just wasn't a good roll but the affix is awesome so I do a lot of gear switching when the situation arrises. Also I played last night and forgot to put back on my Bul-Kathos wedding band that I am still rerolling for the crit chance. The reason why I haven't got an auguilds helm yet is because I can't get the stupid crafting mat to drop and I have been rolling some of my other stats first. In a normal run on T5 I die only on certain monster affixes like firechains and frozen orb. So to say I can't do it on T5 is pretty stupid.
Edit: Also I never said farm efficently just that I can do it without much problems it still takes about 20 min to get to the rift gaurdian so it isn't the best.

Edit: Would the devastator be as good because of the Fire% Bonus?
EB being outside the global is beside the point. The point is that you don't need MM as a damage source with EB, and you'd be better off further empowering EB with other skills like Force weapon (20% dmg) than trying to weave in magic missile (get in close with EB, standing still and firing MM isn't really great). Benefit of EB is the mobility+the high damage. Hexing pants further empowers the build, and MM can't be used if you want to take advantage of those.
Focus+restraint is deffo not a good idea. SOJ is already 50% damage (20% elemental, 30% elite) and Unity is atleast 12% elite aswell.
I can imagine that with those Hexing Pants and only with them. And still I would probably hate it on every rift guardian. Also, Magic Weapon is already used in this spec, so you can't just add 20% damage. Black Hole or Frost Nova are candidates to be added for MMs.

MM/Conflagrate is commonly paired with EB for several reasons:
1. To shore up single target damage. Sorry but killing T6 rift guardians with explosive blast by itself is painfully slow. After stacking some DoTs, MM/Conflagrate can easily out damage whatever you're doing with EB.
2. Sometimes you need a ranged option. EB requires you to be in melee range which is a recipe for getting gibbed when facing certain elite affixes.
3. Mirrorball rolls with CDR making it pair naturally with WoW/EB builds.
Also, Hexing Pants are doable with MM if you stutterstep. It personally didn't work for my play style but I'm sure there are players way more skilled than me who are making it work.

I'm 99% sure he didn't have force weapon when I was looking at him (comment is 2 days old now, could have changed).

If the issue was a few specific elites that gives you trouble, singletarget boss dmg, or a few points where you need a ranged attack, I'd probably decide to rely on Archon instead tbh. It fills all the requirements, while actually being a major DPS boost compared to MM, and a defensive cooldown (along with utilising strongarm's bonus if you still get in the mobs faces and melee them for the extra dps).
Use Archon then, if you like it more. It's one more active slot used though, so your argument is rather pointless anyway.
I personally prefer MM/Conflag + Mirrorball, since it's 100% reliable, while with Archon you either have to invest in CDR, or sometimes lack the much needed ability to deal good single-target (ranged) DPS against big guys.
P.S. And TBH, I serously doubt that unbuffed (by kills) Archon will out-DPS MM/Conflag + Mirrorball in a somewhat drawn-out single-target fight. Its DOT is ridiculous.

Nothing should ever get drawn-out, really. If you can't kill a rift guard in about 20-30 seconds under archon, you're playing on an inefficient torment level damage wise. That said, nothing stops you from kiting to an area with lots of trash and go archon berserk =P.
