Well like I said, I'm just about to get MORTOR SHIPS, I'm no where near close enough to get any diving ships.
Like you I'm not able to have diving boats (7D 15hr 32min left) but a couple of Mortar Ships can give an added jolt but flames still seem to do a heck of a lot of damage. Either case I'm building up on both
This message is going out to all known DFAC members.
Several times over the last 2 months your diplomat, Siaynoq, has instigated myself and members of my alliance. Ultimately this culminated with him launching attacks against a member of UIN because her 400,000+ lumber donated was not up to his standards. He then followed it up with taunts and instigations towards me.
I let his arrogance slide the first time but he has shown that this is a continued issue for me and a threat to members of my alliance.
So starting tomorrow I will be starting an offensive against Siaynoq and any DFAC members that try to intervene. This is not a UIN vs DFAC thing. This a Deos vs Siaynoq issue. However with the actions of Siaynoq I can not say that others are not interested in taking shots at him as well.
So what this means for you all is that you have a decision to make.
At this time I am operating under the assumption that Siaynoq is a rouge member of DFAC and is not speaking for the group. However if he is not then all of DFAC will be included in this offensive.
So I am giving the members two options.
1) Kick Siaynoq out of DFAC and join with me in crushing him
or
2) Prepare to be attacked. If you have received this message it means you are on my list and I have a list of your cities.
The only way to avoid being attacked is to kick Siaynoq or to message me with your intent to leave DFAC. Failure to do either will result in me working my way down that list and causing your gaming experience to become very miserable.
Now for any of you thinking you will resist let me state some facts. First of all at this time I am operating mostly alone however I can easily request assistance from my alliance or call in some favors with my friends so you can not resist. If you doubt the power of my friends look at what has happened to UTG. They were once 4 branches with over 250 members. They now have less then 90 members and are being decimated by my alliance and my friends. How long do you think the members of DFAC will last under the pressure of my friends?
On top of this I have a slight advantage over you all. I have nothing to lose. I have played this game longer then any of you an I have accomplished everything there is to do in this game. All I have left is entertainment. So think of what resistance will cost you and thing of what resistance would cost me. Gold which I don't need as I have capped cargo ships? Citizens that will replace themselves? Resources which I gather in the 100's of thousands a day? Troops which can be replaced in no time between my 8 cities?
So over the next few days you all need to make a decision on what you want to do. I will not expand the conflict to the members of DFAC until at least the start of next week so you are safe for now. Hopefully you decide to be safe going forward as well.
i just got this message.
what will we do?
UPDATE:
I would accept the following and you can share this in a global message so I do not have to message everyone again.
1) Siaynoq is fired as diplomat
2) Siaynoq renames to Owned by Deos
3) Siaynoq keeps his military below 1500
this just came in

Anyone have any social links to these people, any formal application material, anything else we should consider before I probe them? (ew, lol)
overall score(not that important), activeness?(is that even a word lol), those questions that you send demolay before we accepted him(this is what determines if we allowed him in or not)
You've recently submitted an application to the Angiris Council (DFAC). Our leadership and memberbase requires only the best and most civil members. For this reason, we are very considerate of who we allow and do not allow in to our alliance.
The following are a list of questions that I would like you to fill out completely and honestly. Your answers may affect your eligibility in to DFAC. We will be cross-checking some, if not all, answers to the best of our abilities.
1. What would you say your overall activity and interest is in this game?
2. What will you do personally to make the Angiris Council a better alliance?
3. How do you view pillaging other players and how do you personally go about doing it?
4. Do you have any past affiliations with any alliances on any Ikariam servers (.org and/or .com) and what alliances were they (if applicable)?
5. Are you able to comply with the decisions of leadership and/or the pervading decision(s) of the alliance as a whole?
6. Are you a team player?
7. Are you able to represent DFAC in all its occupied servers in only the best ways possible?
Also, this is not to extend an unfriendly hand. New members are more than welcome in DFAC, we are just more selective of our members than other alliances. We would, more than anything, like to extend the warmest and more sincere greetings to you and have you as a prospective member.
Apologies for the inconvenience, but we are trying to be as careful as possible!
Poisoness, is growing (with help), though is growing has an allaince already but is ready to come over, First got idea off me. Details on why unnescesary. Is active, and I can garuantee hes willing to put in effort to get in. And yes he is a good listener
edit- and I have no worries about how Deos is going to suffer, well other than the look on his face once were done with him

Yeah we better keep the talking in here, Ikariam messages are a mess.
(I swear its not for the post count! :D)
So this is what i sent him:
After that we had a little chat (lol) about how i dont care about giving a pause to this game for a month or so, as i can easily turn my towns into ghost towns so to say (0 resources, 0 units to die, no production) and just log in for a minute per day not to get inactive. He thinks thats "breaking" a player and doing that would take away the fun from me, while its barely ever 30 mins a day total, the time i play Ikariam.
maybe we should all go in vacation mode for like a month and then come back just to annoy them lol, then u guys can play in eta with us
eta is sexier than gamma anyways
shoot kenzai you shouldnt have given him your coords! i made a dump colony over there on your glass island in case i get wiped clean by this guy...
i doubt hed go that far though...
and, what are we gonna do??? do u guys think we can stand up and resist?
i dont think they will declare war, plus fighting a small alliance like us will make them look like bullies (they have been accusing this alliance of bullying smaller ones in the ikariam boards)
I talk to him about the thing and it seems like he only wants to attack siaynoq, i told him that i wasnt sure what happen that it had to do with donations and a uin member, and that if he wanted to know more it would be best if he pm swift cause he is the leader, he send me this pm when i talk to him
I have sent that message to your entire alliance. I wanted to make sure that all of the members were aware of the situation and anyone who was innocent did not get caught up into this mess. That would not be fair to them. Thank you for the advice.
And you are correct. He attacked a member of my alliance for her lack of donations. She has donated over 400,000 wood but apparently that is not good enough for him.
he might send a warning but if hes trying to take us off one at a time hes in WAY over his head, Apples dont worry about an attack just warn anyone that Deos is "coming"

in his messages to the colonies he is around, he said that if we dont follow his instructions hed attack us too.
tough spot.
i dunno if he will or wont...i dont feel like asking either...
hey he wont attack, trust me, hes only after siaynoq, he just dont want us to interfere.
we can prob solve this diplomatically.
edit: did u read the message that he sent me?
Sigh. It's funny cause I told Daemaro the other day when getting myself into this mess, "I know I'm gonna be doing a lot of typing before this is all over."
Anyway, in our area up by 89:31, there is a player named Snow Mirna. She has been on the same islands as me since last summer. And never has her level of donations really been up to par. Just a minor annoyance for a long time. But recently after she planted her third marble city, I realized she was doing very well on an island that had such high quarries and lumber mills with little thanks to her donations. So I had written her on and off politely requesting that she consider donating more lumber in an attempt to match everyone else's contributions.
Other islands too her level of donations are not that great. But anyway, after constantly being ignored, I decided I had to send a stronger message. Now had this player even replied with a, "No thanks. I think my donations are fine." Or even a "Frack off!" Even this would've been more acceptable to me. But instead Mirna just flat out ignored me. I thought this was against the spirit of cooperation for inter-island(?) relations. So what can I say? I attacked one of Mirna's cities to extract the lumber from her myself.
Well, almost as soon as my attack was over and I won, I got a message from two ranking UIN members. The first one was from whom I believe to be their diplomat, Kn1ght. He said, "So, what is the reason behind you attacking my player Snow Mirna?" I responded to him with basically the same reason I just told all of you. Shortly after, I got a message from their general, Deos. "Why do you think it's a good idea to attack members of my alliance?"
With Deos, I gave a less than diplomatic response to. Why? Because he had attacked me in the past without provocation and even though he didn't get shit from me, I still had to be set back with the constant micromanagement of my forces just to make sure he gained nothing from his attacks. And he didn't. And it pissed him off. And I sent him home to lick his wounds. Okay, I know sound a little cocky, but personally it did feel good to stick it to one of the largest Gamma alliance's generals who has a score over 1 million? Can anyone blame me? Anyway, I wasn't going to take shit from this guy, but I was still willing to negotiate with Kn1ght. Deos responded with some general, uninspired threats and I figured, whatever.
So I agreed with Kn1ght not to attack Mirna anymore and even informed Deos (though he didn't deserve the courtesy) that Kn1ght and I had reached an agreement to promptly end all hostilities. This did not satisfy Deos and he began making threats not against me, but against other DFAC members around me. By this time I was getting really bored of his sabre rattling.
Anyway, the next day I woke up to find that Mirna herself had attacked not one, but two of my wine cities. Still no message from her, I figured, okay, I guess the hostilities shall resume. So I attacked her other marble colony. Kn1ght messaged me asking why I resumed attacking after he politely asked me to stop. I explained how Mirna attacked me again and that I was also not appreciating the threats and taunts by Deos. He said he would look into everything but so far he has been very slow to respond.
In the meantime, Deos has set up a floater colony on our wine island. Here he plans on staging attacks. He is also constantly threatening me and now demanding I change his name to something about him owning me. I responded in kind my naming my wine colonies I Owned Deos.
Another reason both Deos and Kn1ght don't like me attacking Mirna is because supposedly Mirna is what they call a 'non target member". I'm not sure precisely what this means. But basically it means that there are certain UIN members that are forbidden to attack. This sounds nice in principle, but it does not apply to UIN members. In other words, they have a concept for their own members being non target members, but for anyone else in any other alliance, there is no such thing and they attack whomever they wish. No one outside of the UIN has the luxury of being considered by them as a non target player.
So this is basically where we are at. The floater colony is still there, I have not attacked Mirna anymore and so far I do not intend to. And Deos still threatens all of us around the floater colony. Like I said before though, I do not wish to go on the offensive with him. But if he chooses to attack me, I'll be happy to give him a good run for his money. And that's basically what I'm suggesting those around me be prepared to do as wel. And to do this, it is typically best to revert to minimalist tactics. Keeping your warehouse stores low, turning down production or turning it off completely (whichever suits you), gradually increasing your military, and basically just staying more alert than usual.
It won't go on forever of course. UIN is currently at war with several other alliances. They may be strong, but they can't fight wars on any amount of fronts they choose. Even they have limits. So all we are doing is digging in our heels until Deos' internet rage subsides.

Hehe, Hnk, don't you know how to quote just parts of a post.
The boards aren't useful to us right now. We're not declaring war or anything. But if you look at the Gamma section in the boards, you will see that UIN is enganged in war with as many as five different alliances. Big ones too.
We're just a nasty thorn in their general's side right now.

Kn1ght does seem like a reasonable guy. But he takes a really long time to respond to anything. He says he'll get back to me about Mirna and Deos but has yet to. I think UIN's leaders need to put a leash on Deos. He's all foaming at the mouth and shit.
