Waiting for the download to finish now. But I doubt I'll be disappointed or even surprised. Bioware is one of my favorites; they've a long history of good stuff and I own a large portion of their catalog.
And knowing them, they'll make a sequel. xD They always do. lol

Well the graphics aren't anything to scoff at either. They're actually pretty nice on full high settings. Especially for a game with this many cutscenes/interactive talking etc. I mean it puts your character and your gear right into the cutscene and action. It really makes you feel like you matter to the story.
I beat it as a Elven Mage, that was fun, though the friendly fire is annoying. Even on easy your friends won't take friendly fire damage but they are still frozen by cold spells, and stuff like that. I guess though if they weren't affected at all it would have been REALLY over powered.
The choices is what's driving me to play again I believe I'm going to try a 2 handed human warrior. And try to choose "good" choices.
Mods should start coming out soon, and that will be a whole nother bucket of goodies.
Also a little spoiler from probably one of the most epic fights in a game in a long time:
[spoil]First day they come and catch everyone..
Second day they beat us, and eat some for meat..
Third day the men are all gnawed on again..
Fourth day we wait and fear for our fate..
Fifth day they return and its another girl's turn..
Sixth day her screams we hear in our dreams..
Seventh day she grew as in her mouth they spew..
Eighth day we hated as she is violated..
Ninth day she grins and devours her kin..
Now she does feast, as she's become the beast.[/spoil]

If you're buying it for PC, you can find the Deluxe Edition on Steam for $65.
I played it and it was good, I was a huge fan of NWN but for some reason I couldn't stick with this game, it just got kinda old. I grew out of the combat system I guess, it's just not fluid enough for me.
About 16 hours in, and it's a lot of what I hoped it would be. I could compare this to LoTR, if LoTR was cool. xD It's very mature, and epic, and I like that. I really really really really want to do a total conversion for this game and make it into an Icewind Dale 3. I'm not a DnD nut but I loved those games and if they used this engine and the themes and made that, I'd be in heaven.
EDIT: I bought the regular version at Walmart on Friday and it had Shale in it. *shrugs*

[spoil] No at that specific point in the game she wants to become pregnant. So your only choice is to not bang her if you want something different. Do you have PC version? You must have accidentally accepted her offer [/spoil]
I love this game. I haven't ever played Baldur's Gate II and I didn't play NWN very much (I was such an idiot when it came to that game - I'm mostly used to JRPGs, and I didn't understand why I could only cast a spell once per day. That seemed ridiculous to me. I skipped through dialogue and couldn't figure out why I had no idea what I was doing! No D&D experience whatsoever), so I was skeptical at first about this game. But enough time has passed where I am intelligent enough to take on this game... Haha. Anyway, I love it. Already plugged in about 40 hours and I'm still not done!

I have heard some complaints about the games graphics on consoles. Anyone have any experience with the game on consoles. I have seen screen shots from the game on Xbox360 and it looks great I think. Any feedback?
"Complaints"? Yes, this game is by far much better on PC (although I have no experience with the game consoles, you could never get me to switch, after playing the PC version). If you think it looks great, what's stopping you? Eventually, the graphics won't be the focus of your attention. The story will!

Finally, I'm getting my hands on this game. I'm downloading it from Steam right now, and I can't wait to play it. I was going to wait until after Christmas, but Steam's having a sale on it today, so I grabbed it while I had the chance.
If anyone's interested, the regular edition is 25% off for today only ($37 instead of $50).
And knowing them, they'll make a sequel. xD They always do. lol

People are just picky about graphics nowadays I guess.

Looks about how it runs on the computer on Medium-High.
I will say though that the controls are bound to be much better on PC.
Even if you prefer xbox id get it for pc and play with a controller or something.
