It's rediculous. I come here maybe once or twice a day, and 50% of the time there is a spam thread sitting in the off topic forum. You'd think the mods would take it down right away, but guess not. Something has to be done to decrease the amount of spambots / porn / ads.
P.S. the thread that started this one is still sitting there...
P.P.S. The second thread has child porn on it.. wtf is this forum coming to?
I understand that it's impossible to weed out every single bot that makes an account and/or posts questionable advertisements, but I agree that it's gotten to the point of sheer ridiculousness. I visit this site several times each day (though I may not be posting, I am still here quite often), and approximately 90% of the time I'm here, a few spam posts are here as well. Oftentimes, in those cases, a moderator will be online, but nothing will have been done about it.
That's not to say that the moderators aren't doing their jobs; for the most part, it's quite the opposite. Those that are doing what they are able deserve kudos from us, and I feel they are doing their jobs to the best of their abilities.
At the very least, having a "Report Post/Thread" option implemented would be nice, as well as possibly adding another moderator or two until a more permanent solution can be realized. Until then, I suppose the best thing to do is to ignore a thread you feel might be questionable - don't reply and bump it to the top of the discussion threads; instead, just let it die.
Edit: I should also add that you should try to make use of the little hover feature. Just hover your mouse over the name of the thread to get a preview of the thread's contents (especially if you suspect the thread title is misleading). Blindly clicking might end up with getting yourself a prescription for Johnson's Eye Bleachâ„¢.

I definitely agree with this. A few extra moderators wouldn't go awry at the present, as long as the mods know what they're doing.
i dont understand the motive to coming to a gaming community and doing tht. do they REALLY think it will actually help them get more subscribers??

Piss off, you haven't been here long enough to be irritated by them and If you haven't seen any, leave this thread to the people who have.

Shut up.
The porn ads aren't going aware unless some spam-deleter mods are assigned or some rules are added. But both of those require Umaro.
