Woah, 3D glide mode? I've never heard of that! How do I activate it?
And I think I see now how the weapon highlighting system is going to work. Sounds good to me. I thought what he meant was that everytime your mouse would go over a weapon, a pop-up would come up. Glad it's not like that.

Start Menu > Diablo II > Video Test > Run > Select it at the end of the test. If that doesn't work, PM me or something and I'll try to help you It can cause a bit of lag.

In the IGN interview, I think this was a good part of it:
Quote from name="Charles Onyett" »
It took me a few minutes to realize I wasn't spamming potions during all the fighting. I did have a few healing draughts on my hotbar (which, by the way, also accommodates skills, a change from Diablo II I barely even noticed), but in about 20 minutes of play time I only used one. That's because some enemies will seemingly randomly drop health potions on the ground. You don't pick these up. Instead, you just walk over them and they instantly restore your health as well as, to my surprise and delight, the health of my summons. Gold also seemed to be auto-collected from the ground as the Witch Doctor walked over it.
That's reassuring that the need for potions has been dimmed down significantly. I know there are a lot of games that either, like Diablo II, offered way to many instant-healing items you'd just spam, or they would think nearly taking them completely away would remove the spamming issue, which it never did and just made the game impossible unless you played the same area over twenty times. It looks like this new take is proving to work very well.

Am I the only one who liked the red outline. Now, I know its not the best looking thing graphically but in a game where you are fighting 20 guys at once, it is nice to know exactly who you are attacking. I hated in D2 when I was facing a giant horde and I couldn't tell if I was attacking the mobs that I needed to first. I like being able to know whether or not I am attacking the target that I think I am attacking.

So, we have a confirmation of shrines (sorry, this IS new to me, I don't know about you, guys) and the male Wizard! I'm afraid that's our new class!
I don't know about the shrine, but we've known about the male Wizard since the announcement of the Wizard class, since they said that each class has a male and female form. They also had artwork and, I believe, an image or two of him. Bashiok did note that something specific about the male Wizard would be said at the BlizzCon, though.
Well, I won't be complaining about colors anytime soon. The new area looks brilliant, and I love the bounty on the guy's head. Very nice.
+ no more health bars floating around.

No. I like them as well. It's very retro (back to Diablo 1).

D3 Cons: Fantasy architecture, fantasy armor, fanstasy weapons, no shaders.
Anyone else notice they got rid of the mana globes and the red globes healed and replenished mana
Wow....your right I figured they would still have mana globes and mana restored fast

Hmm don?t you guys have a feeling that game seems sometimes "too easy" ?? Like on that 3rd video when a guy was fighting at the end of the bridge there was many monsters there and lots of fireballs hitting him but the health was barely dropping down 8/ just seems little overpowered.
Yeah, I noticed that too, but they might be making it easier so it is more accessible to everyone. If I'm not mistaken they did for the last playable demo, can anyone who played the demo last time confirm this?
Well, I don't know about that, but, I know that three difficulty settings have been confirmed, and if they are patterned after Diablo II's difficulty settings, I barely ever lost any health in Normal mode.
And I think I see now how the weapon highlighting system is going to work. Sounds good to me. I thought what he meant was that everytime your mouse would go over a weapon, a pop-up would come up. Glad it's not like that.
