The weapons dropped influenced by day/night sounds a good idea though.
Yeah, I was thinking the attributes on items would be slightly different depending if it were night or day. Perhaps MFing for certain items would be best during night/day to make things a little harder to obtain, thus making items more rare and valuable. I don't know, it's just an idea.
thats true. gameplay is best left for another thread.

diablo isnt like WOW or WC (or even DND), it doesnt have gnomes and goblins who can make fantastic machines.
Pirate would be more of a NPC or prehaps even an enemy, rather than a class the player could be.

SICK...SILVER Inferno Crusading Knights ... Coming to Diablo 3 Realm Near You!
I think it would be awesome if there was a class in which they used more stealth ... now b4 u start saying there is the assassin!!! i want a char that is way more stealthy and using stealth and stealth only ... im trying to say something like all they use are tricks and BAM ur face one hit kills slice a throat and take off for the next victim ... maybe a good way to make this char so its not so godly is they dont have much health and lower defence they rely on the surprise of attack, stealth, speed, and the enviorment around them ... if u guys have not realized yet i am kind of explaining the one and only, the bad ass himself Solid Snake from the MGS Metal Gear Solid Seris ... now do not get me wrong here i dont want Solid Snake in the game haha that just would not work lol ... but just maybe redue the assassin and have them live up to the name "Assassin." So therefore blizzard to keep all of the original chars would have to make a different char type that has traps and uses MA as well maybe somethign like a Traper or sumthing of that nature... I just thought that the Assassin should be more of an assassin:rolleyes: and it would be wonderful if this char came to life in D3 it would without question be my 1st D3 char:)

DND is somewhat back in the day, and it has people with flying machines, and submarines, also it has Pirates (of the Sword Coast)
but i dont thin kthese things will be in D3
stealth doesnt really feature in diablo, but prehaps a character could be a bit more stealthier, but im not really sure how that would be done. its not DND where you have thieves who can hide in the shadows jump out and backstab the hell out of somebody. This is diablo where brutal force, and heavy spells are ways of life.

well u see that the assassin has traps and MA so i was just talking about redueing the assassin but them using stealth would be an awesome add on to them and each char has 3 types of fighting tatics aka the 3 tab of different skills for each char not sure what there called ... but the *new*assassin would have the back stab kill or w/e to wipe out other montser but to figth diablo and baal and what not he/she would have other skills not only the stealth but maybe a tricks tab with different abilites or maybe steal a power from a slain monster and use the slain monsters weapon or powers now that would be awesome if u see what im saying

diablo isnt like WOW or WC (or even DND), it doesnt have gnomes and goblins who can make fantastic machines.
Pirate would be more of a NPC or prehaps even an enemy, rather than a class the player could be.
For one I never mentioned a Goblin...at all. Man if somebody uses machines they evidentley must be a Goblin...Most of our car companies are ran by goblins. A Machinist is a human, or an architect at the least. They dont build submarines or flying mechanisms, they create bombs, perhaps their own weapons. And a Pirate, necessarily wouldn't be called a Pirate if it were in a Diablo it would most likely be a "Buccaneer" or "Raider".
You're Idea of an "Improved" Assasin sounds to much like a Rogue, and how can the Assasin get anymore "Assasin"? An Assasin uses the Shadows as a form of stealth (Cloak of Shadows for example) Hides yourself from the enemy.
Sorry for bashing you're "Improved" Assasin but you're comparing it to a Rogue.
The compiled list of Mages is quite DnDish if you ask me. Diablo's Setting and world is a Dark Theme. I mean come on an Enchanter? That's way more DnD than a Pirate, atleast Pirates were real in a sense. And actually have intresting aspects
I highly doubt that Blizzard will incorporate Factions in which you can choose classes from, Yeah I know that some of the books might influence a possible storyline, but more than likely we'll get something nobody has heard of.
The rest of the list. Basically cheap knock offs of the Original Classes. If they were to do that than why not just throw in the Original Classes with new names and call it good. That what most of them on the list are.
I highly doubt that Blizzard will incorporate Factions in which you can choose classes from, Yeah I know that some of the books might influence a possible storyline, but more than likely we'll get something nobody has heard of.
i didnt mean to say that gnomes and goblins are the only ones capable of being inventors, but the are the most common in fantasy games/novels/movies. a human machinist or inventor is possible, but i dont really see one in Diablo. its kind of similar to an alchemist, making potions, contraptions, metallic minions...
Pirate or buccaneer or whatever it may be called, to me seems like more of an NPC rather than a player character, people you fight or get quests from. i dont really see how you could get enough skills for a pirate.
i do get that the suggested classes are very DNDish, but the are just suggests, im sure Blizzard is fully capable of coming up with great classes, but if they wereto resemble those suggested, then hey we werent far off the mark, go us!

Hey , You can add High class unique, rare, set & magic items and also misc items
I wanted that we can choose to become a demon as it would be a diffrent feeling.
as for the weapons, i think that there should be new more powerful melee as well as missile weapons
and the skill sets should be completely different from the other diablo series, because after playing old versions many times now i want to change my taste.
as we know that if a character is pretty good at spells he will not be as good with weapons and if it is good at weapon handing he'll not be so good at wizardry
so i wanted a character with an extremely new and different speciality.
much more... But these are my thoughts on Characters/classes we want to see/be in Diablo 3

alot of these are repeats and I know not dibalo but the skill list is out there.
I don't believe a pirate will be in d3 just b/c I don't see them fitting the heaven and hell nitch.
good list of skills, but even with all that, i still see them more as an NPC, diablo playable classes have almost always been some kind of stereotypical Medieval fantasy class we have all heard of (esp if you play DND), Barbarian, Paladin, Necromancer, Sorcerer and the like. other classes from historical periods may feature in the game but the playable classes have always been Medieval, or Dark Age.
they could be in the game but like i said i think it would be as either a NPC and/or Enemy.

i cant even recall a single dragon in any of the games. the closest thing are the vipers in d1.
really the only dragon mentioned is the world dragon. the one he holds the world on its back, i forget the name Rathma is it?

yes quite. point is there are no dragons in the game, so a dragon rider class would be rather pointless.

Archer
Sorc (female only & elemental magic character)
Necromancer
Crusader (male only)
Knight/Barbarian (dedicated close combat based character)
Paladin (different to the Crusader)
Mage/Arch Mage (more of an enchanter, illusionist, summoner, etc)
All solid suggestions, but explain the difference between a paladin and a crusader.

That what most of them on the list are.
lrn2spell MobbinAllDay.
well according to the most believable rumour or whatever you want to call it, about d3, there factions.

i didnt mean to say that gnomes and goblins are the only ones capable of being inventors, but the are the most common in fantasy games/novels/movies. a human machinist or inventor is possible, but i dont really see one in Diablo. its kind of similar to an alchemist, making potions, contraptions, metallic minions...
