All you really need to do in that kind of situation is make sure you read all the posts and figure out where everyone is. After you understand that you can write your character into any area or skirmish of your choosing. Just make sure you make it clear that you either arrived, or had been there for a while. And for heaven's sakes, don't mention seeing someone if they aren't anywhere near you.
Well, it looks complicated when I write it all out like that, but really it's easy.
That is the theory yes. seems simple enough, but apparently it wasn't. Also, this way (multiple threads) is probably easier to manage.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
Oh and for those of you who didn't know, the new Tavern of the Rising Sun, is the official name of Darkjay's Tavern. no seriously! go read the first post http://www.diablo3.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2153
some of you might recall the old one burned down. The Tavern of the Rising Sun, was the building Ogden owned in Diablo. It's a pile of smoldering ash and rubble in Diablo II/LOD.

I didn't know Alpha was off to Amn too. I thought he was going to Hyrule with Sir Karl.

He never mentioned it. He said that Karl introduced him to the Order of the Hammer.
Maybe i made a mistake.

No that is correct. prehaps he got my palys mixed up. Both characters are paladins, and both are referred to as Sir.
I got them mixed up at one point. But that was only because I was working on two threads at the same time. With the use of pictures andthe fact that only one of them speaks with an accent it shouldn't be that hard to tell them apart.

Yeah, cuz i just entered the Amn thread and saw Alpha there. But initially the story was like this : ''The three men went to find Phasys as he was to be departed from them''. And i was surprised.

I don't mind too much he decided to switch, though it does make the Amn story that much more overcrowded, but seeing as that is the larger of the locations anyway, it's not a huge deal.
On a side note, I will probably include some characters from games/novels set in these areas. These characters will be not be available to you to play as, unlike the other characters I have made, Thoradin, Wulfgar, Sir Karl, etc. Any character from a game or novel that I may add will more than likely be in a cameo type appearance, and a short one at that or in a quest assigning capacity, much like Drizzt was in BGII, he appeared for only 1 quest in the endgame.
And I will only do it if I feel it is needed or will add to the thread. I won't do it for the sake of doing it. Even though that would be fun, but if it's gonna be like calling two NPCs in WOW Larion and Muigin (obvious references to Mario and Luigi (Drop the 'n' and switch the first letters around)), then there is no point, despite the light heartedness some peoples characters bring, I'd prefer to keep this thing as serious as possible.
Not that I don't mind a bit of tomfoolery every now and again.

Currently yes. So long as your character is made from info in the world info thread.

Can anyone tell me how to keep up with the story. Because i don't have anything in my mind right now to post but if i don't post anything i'll lag behind and probably will get lost.
I know people don't much care but i'll be glad if anybody could help me out.

As long as you read the previous posts, and have a fairly good understanding of what's happening, it really shouldn't be too hard to think of something to post.
you could always have your character try and have a conversation with another character.
you could reach into your pack and pull out a long pipe and some tobacco and blow some smoke rings (actually i think i might have my necro do that, lol)
you could have your character complain about the fact your not fighting evil and just sitting around "oh look did the grass grow another inch!"
you could unsheath your sword and being a practice session, and practice some killer blows.
you could dream of a place where blind men see, a place with golden streams, or you could just as easily have a flash back to some traumatic event in your characters life, such as the murder of a friend/family member right in front of your eyes.
you could interact more with the enviroment or voice an oppinion of your surroundings, if you are in a forest, why not climb a tree to get a better look at your surroundings or the road ahead, if you are in a city, and your character hates them he or she could say, "Bah the cities changes, but the fools within are always the same" "A dank pool of base corruption if ever there was one, were it not for the order, the gods would surely smite man for such sins."
I hope to begin leaning the threads towards being more epic, bout time some side quests popped up, what is an RPG without side quests? boring. I can't imagine BGII without the 300 or so side quests you can do.

Of course, we were also all on at the same time, with no one else really posting, so no one got in the way. (Except Zubin, but we worked him in.)
