Youve all hrd me rave about it enough. Good battle scenes, good and historically significant storyline, etc.
Rush hour 1 and 2
These are such funny movies. They get me every time. Might i add rh3 is coming ^^. The combination of chris tucker and jackie chan is a classic.
Anchorman
Cult classic, what can i say. Provides the bulk of the most overly used movie quots.
Chopper
Most of you wont know of this. Its the (true) story of an australian underworld hitman who killed notorious figures of the public and drug dealers. He is still alive today and a top bloke. Its an aussie film, any1 seen it? It combines black humor with the true story and typical aussie happenings. One of my favs.

I've seen those movies a lot. For a short time Rush Hour 2 was practically the only DVD my dad owned, so if ever I was bored I usually pulled it out
But is a third one really coming?
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.

I'd also like to point out that one of my favorite movies is Dune. While I know the plot is grossly inconsistent with the novels, I still happen to really enjoy it.
The casting is really excellent, as in they make the characters believable. The direction is different than most things I've seen; I suppose that's what you get with David Lynch.
And the overall look and feel of the movie really compliments the books. I usually picture those actors as the characters they play in the books when I'm reading them.
And for most science fiction fans, Dune just happends to be a classic.
Se7en, awesome film about a serial killer who's victims and guilty of one of the seven deadly sins, gluttony, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy and wrath.
Fight Club, cameo by meat loaf, awesome performance by Edward Norton.
American History X, again awesome performance by Edward Norton.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
I appreciate Fight Club, but I don't like watching the movie. It's the same with Lord of the Flies. They are both pretty much about the same thing. I guess it's similar to Sianoq's reaction to Gattaca.
1. Fight Club
i think its the most well thought movie made in the last 20 years at least. Has many messages to send to the people that watch it and actually understand it. I dont watch it as often as i did in the past but once every 3 months or so is a must for me.
2. American History X:
a good lesson about racism. If you have such issues then definitely watch the movie. Its really very close to reality.
I liked Fight Club. But I think people look too deep into it. If there's an overall message to that movie, I'd say it's just, "Grow up." Besides that, the rest is just pyscho babble.
As I have just said, I relate Fight Club to Lord of the Flies. Meaning, the pointing out of man's inner natural savagery which is blocked by today's society. The reason why I don't like this movie much is because the savage natural man for me is the low man who I don't want to see in the society around myself...
To me, I just saw a bunch of grown ups acting like children. And the movie showed what can happen when grown ups act like children. And they are not noble revolutionaries, but just children throwing fits over all this adult stuff they have to do.
All those other messages about being slaves to consumerism, and caring too about your self-image, that just seemed like stuff thrown in their for idiots to look at the movie and be like, "Whoa, this is so deep! I should start my own fight club."

This is similar to how it looked to me, except I do agree that our society is not perfect in terms of consumerism and stuff, but on the other hand, it was much worse before, this is how we live now, this you have to cope with.
There's this really good HBO movie called The Girl in the Cafe. I'd say it's a romance/political drama.
I don't like most romance movies for the sake of the genre, but this movie is really good. And as a POLS major, I guess I just enjoy that it takes place at the G8 Summit. And it's got that really hot chick from Trainspotting who I happen to have a thing for. You can watch the trailer here. Good date movie. http://www.hbo.com/films/girlinthecafe/

Space Balls however is worthy of mentioning I think.
