Star Wars. lots of droids and clones fighting aliens and humans.
plus there must be some good spaceship fights. cant think of any right now.
but for battlescenes, is a swords and sandle/might and magic/swords and sorcery/historic/medieval fantasy type movie ill go with 300.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
I was hoping to save this conversation for a new thread, but oh well. I disagree with Star Wars battle scenes being that great. Mainly because I never feel like anyone is in real danger. Everything seems too light-hearted and lacking in grit. Sure, people die, but it's never as explicit as it is implicit.
And seriously, when the Gungans are fighting these cheap, made in Sweden (sorry Phrozen) looking droids, I just don't feel at any time that there are stakes running high, things to be lost, or meaningful lives to be lost. In fact, a lot of them look like they're waltzing with each other.

Same here, I like SW more for the story. Battlescenes are not my thing, anyway. I would prefer a "your favorite sci-fi movie" thread.
Gungans are from the new SW, and they are... not good. And since when was Sweden bad on technology?

why not just make one yourself? i wont stop you.

tv says so, but i figured that was just stereotyping.
from Futurama: (there is no Pi symbol on my keyboard so i will use n)
Prof. Farnsworth:"good news anyone, the swedis hrobot from nKea is here with the super collider i ordered
nKea Robot: (with a swedish accent) "enjoy your affordable swedish crap" nkea Robot leaves and a wheel falls of and the shelf inside falls down, and the handle on the drawer falls off.
Fry: "lets see what tools we'll need"
a short while later
Bender: "there finished and only 6 missing pieces"
Fry: "those swedes sure know how to put in almost everything you need"
a little while later Prof. Farnworth flies thru a wall
Prof. Farnsworth:"bad new nobody, the super collider super exploded, i need you to take it back and exchange it for a wobbly cd rack and some of those rancid meatballs"

cheap, made in Sweden (sorry Phrozen) looking droids
Now I'm offended. We have tons of furniture from there in my home, and never have we had a single-piece missing. They're never wobbly, they never fall apart, and you sure as hell never need to saw anything in half. And the meatballs are awesome
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.

Hehe, don't feel bad. I was probably really comparing the droids to Swedish stuff just so I could make the Futurama reference. And I actually think those Swedish meatballs are good.

Alright! That's more like it.
An interesting fact is that all meatballs sold in IKEA stores all around the world are all made at two factories in Sweden. Both factories spit out around 300.000 meatballs an hour

No, I'm neither fan of Yanni or Enya. That song is one of the few Yanni songs I heard of.
I'm a follower of Pink Floyd, remember?
