Sir, when your company divides the year in by quarters, the second quarter it's not an early quarter.
You can get to consider it "early mid of the year", but not early.
Anyway, taking away quarters, they've stated that they were runing out of time (deleting bunch of stuff on patch 10), and that they've decided to move the target to later this year.
Very well done, you speak to the Diablo community with these images. People believing early is anything including June and before are hilarious. As if when reffering to the calendar year it is simply first 6 months are and the last 6 are late.
They never said Q1 though, so nothing got delayed... early 2012 is not defined as a specific quarter.
Even though they say "earyl 2012" they are saying Q1 even if they never actually said it.
January - February - March (Q1) = Early 2012
April - May - June (Q2) = Mid 2012
July - August - September (Q3) = Mid 2012
October - November - December (Q4) = Late 2012
That is _your_ perception of what means early or mid. For some business people early goes up to mid-may. It all depends of how we want to quantify a word that isn`t supposed to be quantified.
All hail the most prolific artist of the diablo franchise ever Calavera!
This is just...so perfect. I look at it as a visual outlet for the frustrations of the community that can be channeled into comedy and admiration for your skillz!

I'm just glad they can say they're aiming for something.
That's probably the closest thing we're getting to a release date for quite a while. Whether or not they're talking about the fiscal quarter or the 2nd quarter of the Gregorian calendar is to be determined; the 2nd quarter of the fiscal year ends on March 31st, but if you were to measure it by actual quarters of the year, this means that we might not see it until at least April to June.
Last time, when they referred to a quarter, they were talking about the fiscal quarter. It's a conference call, of course they're going to be referring to the fiscal year.
tl;dr it might be around the corner, 1.5 months.

Pretty cool indeed!
But as far as I know, Q1 it's early 2012, Q2 and Q3 are mid 2012, and Q4 it's late 2012.

I'm sorry, that's a delay.

You better get used to this, because for as long as we have Diablo around, I'll keep making crappy comics.
Yeah, keep making your "crappy" comics... :Thumbs Up:

"Diabolesque: adj. Devilish, of the Devil, relative to it"
It's a frenchified neologism.
