there is in a way, you can just call their server and get a large list, (using the ajax call they use) we have a thread on it in the general forum somewhere.
its more of a large dumb of info.. but it helps if its the kind of info you need
Updated my post, http://jsoneditor.net/ reads it as valid, and danget, I'll setup the site to allow cross domain if I can remember the trick to it. If not, I'll add a jsonp version as well
edit: too bad, there's no way (yet) to get runes.

Does it still work with the new runes?
edit: I tried it on the barb page and it didn't work.
I couldn't find anything else in the forums about an API. So, if you have a link... :-/

I have a json output of every spell/rune for the barb
as well as an simple api you can call to get an xml output
edit: I don't see your api ^^;
w/e I can do to help people make tools!
(?callback=? is for jsonp, to avoid the error message from the server).
error: unexpected token ":" on line 2 (this line)
"traits" : [ {
maybe jquery doesn't like some spaces, but I'm not sure (using latest version from google btw)
I'll be back at my computer in about 30ish mins, I'll get it updates then and post
http://jsoneditor.net/ reads it as valid, soon as I'm back I'll do some testing myself
I added the jsonp param to avoid the dreaded error Access-Control-Allow-Origin.
I searched a bit before asking for help ^^
not sure if the space is the pb in fact. I took a quick look (at wikipedia :P) and it seems it should be fine.
were you able to load it yourself?
type your url, for example http://www.diabloapi.../barbarian.json
I also tried this: http://www.jollydroll.com/tools/json?url=http://www.diabloapi.com/barbarian.json#view
this one worked: http://jsonviewer.stack.hu/#http://www.diabloapi.com/barbarian.json
but maybe he's using a backend in PHP to read raw data from the server...
give me a few mins =D
Silly Molster, you forgot the flux capacitor!
