I just wanted to let everyone know of a new website I launched Monday called D3Clans (http://d3clans.com). It's a clan and player database, designed to aid clans with finding players who have shared interests within Diablo 3, as well as to help players find a clan they will enjoy being in. Players and clans alike get a profile where they can specify a variety of information, which can then be used in the search functionality to find just the clans or players you are looking for. Clans can send invites to players asking them to join (assuming they are not in a clan already), and players can send applications to clans requesting to join (Assuming the clan accepts applications and is recruiting).
Clans can create ranks for its members, and assign permissions allowing the members to take part in managing the clan on the site. Clans and players alike can upload images, share videos and links, as well as post clan events. As time goes on I'll be posting articles to help clans with recruiting, management, etc and will have some geared towards players.
I will also have a ladder/tournament system for those interested in PvP. However this is still in the works due to the amount of unknowns in D3 PvP.
Basically the site aims to provide the clan support functionality that I thought D3 players would want that probably won't be on battle.net 2.0 (If it is, then it doesn't hurt to have access to similar support out of game).
There's more to the site, but for the sake of brevity, I'll just let everyone check it out for themselves.
Not any disrespect, but i hope that a site like this us used enough for blizzard to be forced to put these features in game by popular demand. A stepping stone if you will. It would destroy the site sadly but make the game that much better.

Haha, none taken. I hope Blizzard adds a bunch of in-game support as well, lets keep our fingers crossed.

Again the URL is http://d3clans.com
I'm open to suggestions for the site, and would love any constructive criticism or comments about the site. And if you have any questions let me know.
I hope everyone here, and the rest of the D3 community finds it useful.
P.S. Thanks Sixen for allowing me to post about the site
Thanks, I hope so too.
I'm glad others are liking the idea.
