So a few months back my gaming laptop (gateway fx) took a dump. I am looking to buy a new laptop that ill run diablo 3 along with other games such as Starcraft hots, league of legends, and also watch movies. I was looking for a price range of under $1000 and this is the one I am thinking of getting
It might work, the deciding factor is just the GFX card. Many people say it works with low settings, some people say it works with high settings (but appears to be a lot of showing off). Don't expect 100 fps @1920x1080 will high quality settings... but it should "run", if that's all you're looking for. If you want performance for gaming, get a laptop with a better GFX card.
Btw, I personally would not want to buy any PC/laptop without an SSD anymore. If you're just playing 100% of the time it doesn't make that much of the difference (although D3 had some annoying lags everytime I went to a new zone and installing D3 on my SSD solved that issue). But for all desktop applications an SSD is just amazing. Might consider it if there's something within your budget.
