i give up . fuck this RNG GR bullshit , thereare always2 big maps with 2-4 elite packs + bullshit density, 2nd level was A3 keep's depth, a big map with few monsters + 2 elite packs ,i hoped 3rd lvl to be good then what i got was the same map but bigger with same density as previous lvl, i have tried 3 times, i really cant make it ,always at least 2 maps with bullshit density + almost no elite packs, this is not fair cozi willhave todo the trail again then climb back up to 33
srsly this entire Gr is like lottery, not a place to test your skills.
i think diablo3 players are superior comparing to WOW players coz with WOW, you practice to win, with diablo3 ,you practice+ get lucky to win, most important is to get lucky !
from the nature of your post, you likely don't have the patience for this, but . . .
when trying to advance to the next level GR:
1) run ~10 trials or so and get that level of key -- if you can't get that level of key in the trial, you probably have other issues.
2) once you have a good number of GR xx keys (whatever level you are trying to progress through next), then run those successively until you get a rift that is workable. It doesn't have to be a zombie/conduit rift, just one that isn't pure evil or filled with imp packs all 100 yds apart from one another.
3) enjoy success or, if you get a good rift and still can't progress - it's an indication you still have some gear work to do. Go speed run more T6 rifts which you should be able to quite easily if you can clear GR 30+
All of that said, I do agree that Blizz still has some work to do for Season 2 and beyond to address possible rift composition as well further balancing on progression credit you get for each type of creature. Right now, they are just balanced around xp you get for the creature natively and that has not translated well to GRs (i.e. credit for zombie vs corrupted angel and the like is way out of whack). But Season 1 is pretty much a live pilot for those things and I expect it will get iteratively better with each patch and season.
