You CAN log in. All of you. RIGHT NOW. You have to switch the language to a different language via the options menu. NOT on the launcher, but not AFTER you type in your password. After the launcher, BEFORE you type in your password. Options menu at the left. Change the language via "account" Then you have to redownload some localization files for that language (pick the one you're most familiar with, likely NOT Korean, and if you know any Spanish, try French. They're similar.) Then once you can get in and log in, hit the little gear button above the chat and quitter something general. Then change the language back to english "anglais" or something, log back in normally, and tada! You should be in!
Taken from D2jsp, and the Diablo Forums.
I can confirm this i tried it, it works!
BEFORE YOU CHANGE LANGUAGE BACK YOU MUST ALSO LEAVE GENERAL CHAT AFTER LOGIN!
Well when i try logging into the PTR i get Error 12 :/ (EU)
You don't want to login to it, change your language to something other than English, preferably German or French, restart it and it will start a download.

Anyone have any other suggestions? I've tried both the french and german workarounds to no avail; Once I get to the step where I log in with the foreign client, it still instantly DC's me right when I try to log in, no time to turn off general chat or anything.

I didn't have that issue (tried both times and worked both times).
Maybe have "/leave" (without quotation marks) copied and just click and hit CTRL+V as fast as you can into the chat box before the d/c message pops up. But it should work, unless something else came up.

Oh I'm still at the character creation screen, when the DC happens. Well usually it at least gives me that screen for 1/100th of a second, but now it'l just go through it's authentication process and then say I've been DC'd right after the last checkmark D=

how to do step n.7 when i can't log in it says Error 12
But when i select german i must download 2.5Gb of files. Blizz is such a failure...
I feel the need to address this; This is not Blizzards fault. Downloading a different language takes up a LOT of space, and at the moment it's sciences fault for not coming up with a better solution. Don't just start up the hate Blizzard train without any merit. I mean cmon guy.
Back to topic;
Yep I've tried every language, still DC's me right after it logs in, this time around it's not even bringing me to the character screen ><
Ugh oh well, might as well go farm some more paragon =D

This is how... Same for error 12 , 3005 or Disconnecting problems.
