This build would be a great Pve build with some survival aspect great if you manage to farm items alone in higher level of difficulties such as hell/inferno. Being able to use high damage skills and rune them so that the do some stun/slow definitevely will help survive at some critical moments.
This build is quite different, it uses the Demon Hunter Passive Cull of the Weak to it fullest potential, having allot of skills whit slow, steady hate regen and strafe as main damage source. also uses mark of death to deal more damage to some targets
i like this build as its quite different, and also it gives some amazing control that can be useful late game
This is my first post here on diablofans, after reading many topics.
My build is for a frenzy barbarian. His whole deal is simplicity. Mouse1 is frenzy, with sidearm for the pure joy of seeing random minions being cut down by throwing axes, and Mouse2 is rend, for the unashamed purpose of gaining life.
He has brawler and ruthless for the damage, and Unforgiving so I can charge into a fight fully prepared if I want.
Wrath of the beserker and battle rage are for those tougher mobs, while Warcry keeps his defense up. Revenge is there to augment the lifesteal from rend and the critical strike from battle rage.
In this build, your best defense is slaughtering everything in your path.
Its a basic Arcane build. I focused around dealing only arcane damage thats why arcane hydra etc. I regen my ap with signature, aditional regen from the perk ( also increases max ap ).
Focused more on survival - slowing enemies, letting hydras aim the attacks etc. I like it so far. We will see once the game is released.
This build is ment to trap large groups (PVE) and nuke'em whit a blizzard. For singel encounters (PVE&PVP) I belive a comb between Magic missile and spectal blade would do the trick. Only way to find out is to test is whit a beta key:)
So my build is called the super saiyan for one simple reason. DO NOT LET WRATH OF THE BERSERK fall off.
The main 2 attacks will be Cleave(reaping swing) to add fury quickly and Frenzy(Relentless)
THE IDEA:
the basic concept is to maintain your power level over 9000. What issue are against you in this is mainly time. were not clear on how the higher levels of thew game will look from packs of mobs to packs of other mobs but i made this build to best shorten that issue.
SPRINT(marathon):
it has no Cooldown and will be your best rage dump. just keep spamming it and you'll always be ready to receive rage and increase the WotB timer. Stay over 9000!
Frenzy(relentless):
this move puts you into super saiyan 2 and beyond, while its up there is another 15% increased movement speed. so just keep the truck, trucking and hunt down those monsters
Cleave(reaping swing):
best fury builder you can take. no questions asked.
War cry(charge!):
Good survivability with armor and the charge glyph grants you increased fury AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!! stay over 9000!!!
Battle rage(marauder's rage):
this one is simple, everyone knows once you enter that super saiyan form your power is boosted even higher and damage is what you'll need to kill and progress.
WRATH OF THE SUPER SAIYAN.......i mean BERSERK!(thrive on chaos):
crit:10%, attack speed:25%, dodge:20%, and MORE movement speed:20% with the glyph every 25 fury gains you 1 more second in super saiyan heaven.
PASSIVE SKILLS: Animosity: increasing the amount of fury you get and the maximum is very important, you want the greatest chance to pull in fury for that time your on at all coast. Boon of bul-kathos: wotb's cool down is too damn long! Just too freaking long, god forbid you do fall below 9000 your going to need a forgiving mechanic from that failure, this will give you 30 seconds back. Unforgiving:this one got me going with the always generating fury. i'm a little concerned about its mechanic and how it my exactly will work but if it fails like in my worst case scenario replace with (weapons master), if not 1 second = 25 fury = 50 seconds, time flys so will you when you spam sprint(20 fury)
Basically, it's a PVE wizard build that I'm thinking to use when the game launches. It's pretty much built up around Storm Armor. With the stun effect from Paralysis, Galvanizing Wand and Electrocute, and the push back + Stun from Wave of Force, enemies should be controlled fairly easily
Here's a crit-based build build I came up with. It's meant to be used with a high damage two-handed mace or axe (because of weapons master). With overpower and revenge procs, the crit chance of hammer of the ancients is increased by 50% not including any equipment mods. The smash rune for hammer of the ancients would also be a good choice, more damage in a smaller area, but who doesn't like more loot?
Furious Charge is used as an initiator and critical strikes with whirlwind will heal you.
The basic plan is to generate fury via the shout, reach your enemy via Sprint, speed up with Frenzy, land some hits, wait for some sort of kiting spell, get him back with the multi spears, hit the Wrath button and whirl away at lightning speed for the kill. Like classic Barb vs Ama
This build focuses on burst damge to really kill those nasty demons, with a bit of surrivability to make sure you dont die. As for added support, ill have my Templar follower to keep things off of me in times of crisis, so i made him tanky. For my Scoundral i made him beefy for extra DPS, and my Entracntress is mainly support to aid me over her doing DPS. (Link to my followers: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/follower#1100!1110!1101 )
Hope'd you enjoy! And thanks for the chance to win a beta key!
All in swiftness, movement speed, dashes, charges, and of course, maximum damages. I may change the Exploding palm for something else, but I'll have to feel the other spirit generators first.
The passive life regen when spending spirit is the only def skill I accepted to pick.
This build's concept relies on heavy use of hatred, with Rapid Fire for single targets and Multishot for large groups of enemies. While doing AoE, Multishot fuels Punishment-enhanced Preps to keep Hatred high for non-stop firing- at least, in theory. Vault exists to escape fast enemies while still doing damage, and the Wolf companion adds extra damage when the discipline can be spared. Finally, Spike Trap with Scatter offers a way to throw out 405% weapon damage for free to set a trap or conserve hatred/discipline for other activities.
I've chosen demon hunter cause that's my favorite class cause of character and lore beauty, but also cause of armor and specially weapons- bow, crossbow and hand crossbow omg!:) Here's my build, it's based on slowing and stunning enemies, as well as dealing massive dmg. This build is more oriented on fighting large groups of mobs, and not so much on pvp. I would prefer (when using this build) having a barbarian in my team, so he could tank and additionally stun enemies. Hope you like it.
Hey there, meet Swirly. His parents dropped him on the head as a kid , and his parents decided they didn't want him, so they threw him out on the street, er path is more like it. But somehow, this works out in Swirly's favor! If this never happened he wouldn't have been good at killing baddies. Because swirly doesn't think very good, he rushes straight into enemies, really fast, and spinning furiously! (He never really learned how to walk properly either). Throughout his dimmed life, Swirly has surprisingly found out how to survive in the cruel place called Sanctuary . Luckily, in the world he lives in, thinking isn't really necessary! This is what swirly has learned in his life. http://eu.battle.net...YSeR!ZgY!ZZacbZ
As said before, swirly rushes straight into battle, swirling everywhere. Hence his name, swirly. The main thing he learned to do is spin. Also known as whirlwind
Primary attack skill: Whirlwind with Hurricane runeskill: Whirlwind, how beautiful. The art of rushing into battle and spinning. No. Not spinning like a ballerina. Spinning like a badass. Because thats what barbs do. They spin. Like badass's. With the Hurricane runeskill, you spin as fast as you would normally walk. With skills that increase your movement speed, your a rampaging spinning machine. This is also going to be your main fury generator. With theWeapons Master Passive, each hit with a mighty weapon generate 3 fury per hit, and while under the effects of Battle Rage, you generate 15 fury per critical hit. With this guys attack speed, critical hits will be happening alot, and he will be hitting things alot. Whirlwind does 110% weapon damage. Hopefully this will be succesful enough and work as a fury generator. If not, we will adjust the build as needed.
Secondary attack skill: Sprint with Run like the wind Runeskill: Swirly likes to start off his battle like an actual hurricane. Hence the Hurricane runestone in whirlwind., and this runestone. First off, Sprint increases movement speed by 40% for 3 seconds. This doesn't seem like a long time, but i think its spammable(not sure). Anyways, well only be using it to start off our battles. So, you use sprint, and whirlwind into the fray. Because of hurricane runestone on whirlwind, youll be spinning at the speed of 140% normal movement speed. That is fast. Real fast. And because you go so fast, you leave behind tornados in your wake which deal 60% weapon damage. The tornado's are trying to mimic swirly!
Defensive skill: War cry with Impunity Runeskill: Swirly never learned how to speak properly. He's only learned how to shout. He shouts a lot. He has a lot of different shouts. Swirly's first defensive shout is War Cry. His War Cry shouts makes him giggle, and feel at home, and because of this he has +50% defense, and +50 % resistance to all elements.
Tactics skill: Threatening shout with Grim Harvest: This is another one of swirly's shouts. Swirly uses this shout when he is looking for love. He goes off into the fray raping, fondling, and feeling up all the monsters! He just wants some motherly love! Yes. Swirly wants to have sex with his mother. I thought we already established that?(Sigmund Freud) Anyways, threatening shout reduces enemies damage done by 25% and they have a 5% more chance to drop their family jewels, and whatever else is on them at the time.
Might Skill: Battle Rage with Into The Fray Runeskill: And yet another one of Swirlies shouts! Swirly learned this shout when he was being raised by possums and Shenk the Overseer.His own kind didn't accept him, and when his fatherly figure Shenk was killed, he went off to look for another home. Shenk wasn't that nice to him though, and Swirly holds grudges. That's why he kills monsters. He would go out and hunt the monsters, and he learned that when he was hunting, and he used this shout, he'd feel invigorated. This shout gives Swirly a +15% damage boost and a +3% critical hit chance. Because he used this shout primarily when he was hungry in his early years, it has evolved with him, and every critical hit generates him 15 additional fury(Into the Fray Runeskill effect)
Rage Skill: Revenge with Best Served Cold: Swirly is often known for his homicidal tendencies. Especially against people whom he has a grudge against. His grudges don't go away easily, either. Revenge has a 15% chance to become active every time Swirly is hit. Upon activation, Swirly's homicidal thoughts invade his enemies mind, and all nearby enemies take 220% weapon damage. Swirly is so pleased at the pain he's caused his enemies, that each enemy that was hurt replenishes his life bar by 5%. But it doesn't end their. Like I said, Swirly holds grudges, and because of that, for 12 seconds after Revenge has activated, Swirly has 10% increased critical hit chance.
Passive Skill 1: Ruthless: Swirly never had manners. Why start now? Ruthless helps swirly find the weak spots in his enemies flesh,giving him a 5% extra chance to critical hit, and when he hits them he does 50% extra damage. How rude!
Passive Skill 2: Brawler Swirly remembers the dark nights in the Frigid Highland when shenk and his friends would come 'cuddle'. Now, whenever 3 or more enemies are within 8 yards of him, he does 30% extra damage
Passive Skill 3: Weapons Master: On his journey away from his home, and into a new world, Swirly came across his first Mighty Weapon. He was hungry at the time, and didn't know enough about the demons around him to properly kill them and get food. That mighty weapon saved his life. He learned that just by bashing monsters, he could kill them. The mighty weapon taught them that. If he had a normal brain, he probably would have realized sooner. Now, all mighty weapons grant him 3 additional fury per hit, to feed the never ending hunger he seems to have. Because of this, whirlwind becomes a fury generator.
This is what swirly looks like when rushing into battle
Notes: I am not sure how well this build will generate fury, and it may be too low. If that's the case, then i would suggest switching out Sprint with Bash(Instigation Runestone) for extra fury generation and single target killing, or Frenzy with the movement speed buff. After a little thinking, I may actually prefer bash or frenzy. It all depends on the playstyle of your barb. With Swirly, i just think sprint seemed to fit a little better with his story which is why i added it. But, I may add Bash or Frenzy to the story-line, depending on how this tests out late game. Anyways, hope you enjoyed my build!
~Gusher
I just thought this would be an interesting idea for a Monk build. Basically a ton of spirit generation to continually Cyclone Strike/Lashing Tail Kick combo.
Pull a horde of enemies in with Cyclone Strike, pop Serenity, once Serenity explodes knock them away again with Lashing Tail Kick. Repeat.
May the heroes rise from the pit of despair and the bards sing of the day of death renewed to everlasting immortality....awaiting your return to the lands of Sanctuary may peace be with you on this day...your day of birth.
An offense oriented wizard using familiar and slow time to boost attack damage for arcane orb and meteor. Glass canon to boost damage but energy armor with the rune to boost resistances. along with plenty of arcane power with astral presence and power hungry passive skills. beta roll.

Probably won't make it through hell with this, but eventually the goal is to fill the entire screen with massive, skill-impeding explosions
