I loved the Necro in Diablo 2, and I'm a fan of summoner characters (I was a Warlock in WoW).
This build focuses on damage reduction and using the Witch Doctor's summons for 1v1 battles. Depending on how strong the summons actually are, I think it will be difficult for another class to deal with all of the summons and kill the Witch Doctor character at the same time.
SNIPER
This is pvp build.
This build has two versions : Stunner Sniper and Nuker sniper, both are based on impale
First iam going to talk about skills which both versions use.
Valut (tumble)- This is great way to get distance from crazy hitting enemies, or escape aoe. Tumble rune because, just imagine
barbarian ancient spear immediately pulling you after first valut.
Anyway in my playstyle i will use second valut in 6 seconds for sure
Preparation (Battle scars)- you need discipline, and you need it alot that's why. Battle scars
because it adds alot of survival ability and definitely can chance result.
Marked for death (Mortal enemy)- 15 percent bonus dmg from all sources (if no, fu) so this will definetely boost your team.
Mortal enemy? Because you are based on Impale, which is high cost (25) and you have to spam it often!
Bola shot (Thunder ball)- With every bola shot you are getting 6 hatred and has a high chance for stun and solid dmg
SPAM BOLA SHOT
Stunner sniper: as you can understand from name, is focused on stuns, permaslow and has high mobility.
This is useful if your teammate is melee high dmg dealing character and it's important for him to stay, near enemy
ex.(frenzy barbarian)
Impale (Impact)- With nice 250 percent dmg you also stun enemy for 1.5 sec.
Thrill of the hunt (passive)- every 10 sec 3 sec immobilize? Go deamon hunter go! Your enemy wont move from place with this build
and your team mate is able to chop him!
Cull the weak (passive)- 15 percent bonus dmg to slowed enemies, nice boost isn't it? With Marked for death you will deal nice dmg
Perfectionist (passive)- all discipline abilities cost minus 20 percent. Double use of vaulut costs 12 discipline now.
Mobiliy drasticaly improved, they won't hide.
how i intend to play my routine?
With hatred you play entangling - impale(stun) - entangling - impale(stun)
With hatred depleted entangling - bola - bola(stun?) - entangling
Nuker sniper: this build also offers high mobility, however gear should be focused all on critical hit chance and dmg.
Your teammate is supposed to have a secondary role as, tank/heal/stunner etc. and he must permaslow for maxumum efeciency.
Entangling shot (Justice is served)- in this case, when it's up to your teammate to slow, this will mainly serve only
as high hatred generator (9 per shot), also slow will be helpful anyway.
Impale (Grievious wounds)- here we go, rune adds 100 percent additional dmg to critical. I found no exact informations how much dmg
critical hit adds but lets count with 50 percent. With this rune its (250% wep dmg) X (1.5(ordinary crit)+1(rune)+0.5(archery))
EQUALS 750% wep dmg for each impale critical.I like shoot my enemies splashing their guts on walls.
Archery (passive)- bonus depends on weapon type. In equation above i used 2h crossbow, which i reccomend.
Sharpshooter (passive)- COME AT ME BRO
Cull the weak (passive)- i count on my teammate to permaslow when i am Nuker, so this will add big dmg bonus.
Thats all friends. Add comment, i want to hear your opinion, don't flame don't troll. Any suggestions how to improve?
and .....GIMME BETA1!!!!!1
Bash
Basic furry generator, hits hard, has chance to knockback. Spam skill. With rune it grants more rage.
Rend
Furry spender, nice aoe damage, and heals with rune. Also nice with my 3rd skill/rune combo.
Threathening Shout
Basic Taunt ability, to help out my teammates, and also helps to do Rend on more targets at the same time.
War cry
Another furry generator, armor for tanking, maximum life + health regen from rune. Makes the barbarian more healthy.
Ancient spear
The "get right over here you dumb monster" skill, helps to pull mobs away from teammates and a good initiator / skillshot for a running enemy, Rune regenerates health.
Wrath of the Berserker
The "s*** just got real" ability. Rune grants more dodge, since its a tank.
Passive abilities:
Tough as Nails
Extra armor and thorn damage. Armor for every tank!
Inspiring Presence
Grants bonus to 2 of the skills above. Doubles the effect duration and grants more health regen.
Relentless
Kinda like the "last stand" ability for diffucult situations, like "that idiot tank pulled to early again", and "wait we're sill far behind you".
Hope gonna be usefull while we'll be playing with my friends on Inferno.
I'm not gonna pretend to know how this build will hold up but here's my concept. My hopes are that this is a build for Coop PvE because that's what I'll be doing the most anyway. Hopefully this char can stay in the thick of the action without fear of death
Exploding Palm and Deadly reach seem like the best 2 spirit generators with good crowd control and combo options. Essence Burn rune for increased dmg and keen eye so I can stay in the thick of things.
the 1 and 2 slots make sense for support skills since they are on the pinky and ring finger. Sanctuary with Safe Haven rune being used an "oh shit" move if things get hairy for a few seconds. Mantra of evasion seems important if I plan on letting enemies near me and with the added armor boost getting hit wont be so bad.
the 3 and 4 slots are the punishment slots. Nothing but just some high dmg hits here. I prefer the stun instead of knockback because Im gonna want mobs right up on me the whole time. Plus if figure if things surrounding me are stunned the enemies behind them won't reach me giving me an extra second to pull off...SSS!!!! add the sudden assault for a whopping 1007% per hit! (so excited to try that move out)
passives are where I feel most lost since there effectiveness will constantly be changing as the game goes on but this is why I picked what I did. One with everything because I feel like if you focus on 1 element you can set the bar higher for everything else. Also it seems like (and i know that our item info is incomplete) the items that have the same kind of resistance pair well together for the most part. Chant of resonance because I don't want to have to worry about it depleating during a long fight and I would be spending another 50 spirit in the same amount of time without it and I would prefer that 50 spirit for a SSS. plus I don't have a lot of spirit generation in this build (I think) but this will give me another 1200 over the 10 mins (problem solved?) The last one was a tough choice because I don't know what I need but I figured Sieze the Initiative will keep me nice and tanky which seems to be the focus here.
Hope you consider this build for a key!! any feedback would also be awesome
It´s PvE, the wizard will be my first character and I´ll use it to obtain items for the rest with this build. I based on killing bosses as fast as I can (meteor + disintegrate) and use teleport to move quickly.
This build of my Barbarian soon to be name Mastodon. He is AoE - addict. All the beta’s video I have watched, I see they kept the pve style the same. Also, the build I think is viable because the Barbarian is most of the time the front of the group. There seem to be a lot of monster on the screen at once, so with my build I would have my barb first use “War Cry”, then go near the mob and use “Ground Stomp.” With the Wrenching Smash rune he can pull a lot of mobs to him and once they are, they are stunned for 4 sec. He then can use “Hammer of the Ancients” to destroy some spiny demons, and when one die the other enemy that surround the destroy demon will be stun as well, thanks to the Thunder-strike rune. Once The focus is all use up, he can cleave the hideous demons to death with “Cleave.” With all these mobs so close to one another, the passive skill “Brawler” would be super effective. This build is also viable when you want more experience from the Jar of Soul event. Imagine the barb do not have to move much but cleave, and bash skull with a giant magic hammer, and when everything is dead the barbarian will be standing on a pile of dead bodies and looking very heroic I say. With “Call of the Ancients” I have Madawc’s Madness skill rune. With the enemies being group up and closed to the barbarian, he can use the Seismic Slam to hurt enemies in a frontal cone, and to even add more flavor to the mix, the Barbarian should use “Earthquake.” With the Rune The Mountain Call, the Barbarian can be sure to use it without worrying about fury cost. Imagine a group of mob standing in fire. Oh how does that reminded me of World of Warcraft. To add more spectacle to the AoE frenzy, to passive skill Boon of Bul-Kathos would remove all cooldown of Earthquake completely. The weapon mastery passive is always a good thing to have, more damaged means the faster the mobs dies, and more skull explosion.
I like this build of my because I LOVE seeing hordes of demons being destroy by amazing looking skills. I have always been a person who play a melee, because I find it more engaging. Since Diablo 1 I played the Warrior, and Diablo 2 & Exp I played the type of Barbarian there is in Diablo 2. From Throwing Barbs, to Gold Find, HOWLING barb, to WW, to Werewolf Barb. All that one can think of, I played them all. Plus, “Real men use swords.” Sorry, if this summary was too long, but once I get going on Barbarian, it is hard for me to stop myself.
This is my ultimate AOE build, almost all skills have huge range and do massive damage :D:
Bola Shot - runed for more radius
Rapid Fire - rockets added
Fan of Knives - slows up to 80% with rune
Rain of Vengeance - runed with shadow beasts for more aoe
Multishot - rockets again xD
Companion - and mighty boar to finish the job
Passives - Archery, Ballistics, Numbling Traps
This is a mage nuke build. It allows an escape through teleport, but the primary focus is damage dealing. Glass cannon etc...I think archon is going to be awesome and magic missile should be nice with the seeking.
This is my Demon Hunter. The DH is my absolute favorite character in Diablo 3 because of her style and background. Also, bow is my favorite weapon so naturally my DH build is based in bow skills. Also I tried to favour damage and attack speed whenever possible with the rune choices.
This is my monk build. It's 100% PvE offense. There's lots of AoE effects and big hit spells.
I'm hoping that through keeping sweeping wind's vortex active and a mantra with chant of resonance I won't need to constantly use spirit generators. Then to keep me in the action I use Dashing Strike and Seven-Sided Strike, then Cyclone Strike to make sure any large group is getting hit with all the AoE.
I'm looking forward to watching large groups of enemies die all around me from seemingly nothing but my presence.
it's an melee sorcerer used for PVP, best vs barbarian and monk.
teleport so u get close to ur oponent and destroy him :D.
rotation
teleport - frost nova - archon (atack him while active) - diamond skin - frost nova - spectral blade
teleport - frost nova - spectral blade(only use spectral blade after u use frost nova because u will do more damage.
its good to hit and run so oponent dont combo u and u die
i think my wizard should look like this when ill be lvl 60! But everything can change since i have not played beta yet and i dont know what spell are more usefullpowerfull than the other! But i can say i really liked blizzard in D2 so thats why i think i will use this spell again! And i wont do PvP so i dont mind if i really have not the best built with the wizard
This is a PvP build for a Demon Hunter. The build is focused around effective kiting and being evasive. Coupled with slows, stuns, improved damage, and improved movement speed - You will be a slippery target for any challenger to get ahold of.
This build takes all splash effects the witch doctor has, and uses them to stun, slow, and even turn large groups of enemies against themselves, WHILE simultaneously dealing massive splash damage to the entire group.
The locust swarm ability, combined with stun and slow effects from the tangling root ability, essentially freezes your enemies in place, while dealing damage to them, never allowing them to get close enough to even harm the witch doctor.
This build is excellent for both group and solo play, when fighting multiple enemies.
Based purely on the concept of mobility, I like to think of this barbarian build as being very fun to play. The idea is to never have downtime as you get across the map with top notch speeds.
My favorite theoretical combo:
Ancient Spear with Rage Flip rune, which pushes everyone away. Close the gap with Furious Charge and then Whirlwind everyone to death.
