I just started playing D3 in the last 3 weeks and started a season character. I knew that I was going to have that toon bumped to a standard character once the season was over. What I didn't know was that I could not play adventure mode with it.
My question is : do I now need to complete all the acts to be able to open adventure mode or am I missing something? If so seems kind of pointless.
I have yet to play anything other than solo. In multi player is there a standard procedure for finding someone to help "boost" to Act 5? Im fairly sure clearing the acts will not be overly difficult if needed just wasted time and lack of time to play (just a few hours a week) is my issue.
I wouldn't say there's a standard procedure, I mean, the vast majority of people have completed the campaign at least once to access adventure mode already.
Am sure if you were to ask in general chat, someone might be willing though.
Not sure why u want to skip campaign if u never played it. Its nice to know the story and from where different tilesets are coming. I'm not a big lore fan but well its a content that you will enjoy when u doing it first time. I'd just try to finish the campaign before 9 november, and then make a fresh char on next season with adventure mode unlocked. Campaign also guides you through all the important places in game (bosses etc.) so its experience that will be quite handy when you start doing adventure mode.
If you really want to rush to adventure mode, you should join some communities (there are power leveling communities there), just try to find active one and ask politely on chat. You might not get immediate response, but theres big chance that someone will help you.

the story is garbage, just like the game.
If the story is garbage, just like the game, then why are you here on this forum that is for Diablo fans... and more important why are you still in the game?!?!?
Guys, please don't derail topics with hatred-filled comments or personal attacks. Removed some posts that crossed the lines.
RE: OP - just ask for the "Malthael quest" in a public community and people will help out (I've done this recently myself when I had to unlock adventure mode on NA+Asia). Takes one minute. No need to play through entire campaign if you don't want to.

Anyway thank you in advance.
Pretty sure you only need to complete the final quest in act 5, if you can get someone to boost you for it. And, you only need to do it once (total).
And may the odds be ever in your favour.

Thank you sir.

Again thank you for the reply
