Which class is really considered the toughest to kill? Tanky I guess is what i'm asking. I just find Necro too squishy no matter what spec or build I try. It would be great if you guys could advise me, and possibly link to the tough guy builds you mention! Thanks so much!
Which build isn't squishy for necro? No sarcasm, just want to know. I've tried 8 of the top builds from this site, and none stop one shots at 70+ in my experience. I haven't been playing long, so maybe I just don't have enough damage to make up for the lack of defense. I'm at a loss and going to likely try a thorn crusader I guess. Thanks for the reply.
just mouse over all the items and see how many of them give damage reduction, also your vault stuns everything it touches so you can interrupt any slow hitters
Dh for sure. They got th most viable endgame builds that are tough. This is mainly because of the many good options on skills and items that they usually pick. On top of a standard ~50% def Bonus from a set or lon they additionally can often fit in perma vengeance 50% and have a wide variety to additionally boost their toughness without sacrificing offense (aquila cubed, generator wrists, endless walk, elusive ring...). There are many Builds from other classes that only use 2 def multiplier which just is utterly squishy in high push builds. I dont like those...
If you die a lot with necro Trag`Oul then you are bad player. Necro is glass cannon but you can easily avoid dmg and stay alive if you are good player. Take for example the guy that cleared GR111 , he died once and that was without cheat death passive. So necro is not tanky but its easy to stay alive with him if you know what to do. If you die once on GR 111 then you cannot blame the necro for dying on GR80.
My brother has weak necro Trag`Oul and I did GR 84 with him , never died once while my brother died 18 times on GR 75. Its all about experience and this is what I love about necro. He is skill based as far as survivability goes.
Did you have fun! Commenting on us baddies make you feel good?! /S Not sure what part of this conversation made you think anyone would care that you are better then others, but hey...open forum and all!

If you found Necro squishy, you must have done something wrong, but every class has a tank-like build you can use.
But nothing compares to a good Healing Monk, some Barbarian builds and Thorn Crusader.

shadow dh is basically a braindead clown show, you'd have to deliberately stand in every molten explosion to even proc in gr70
you'll never die in t13, and damage will hold you back before survivability as far as solo pushing goes

Thorns Crusader by far. You can't die, simple as that. The damage is below average though, and really boring to play.
