Well I saw a Blizzcon video recently of the Diablo 3 demo area. Apparently, they had covered up all the logos on the computers and monitors, so no one could figure out what their specs were. Maybe some people Alt+Tabbed out to check, although I haven't seen anything online.
No one knows, because you aren't allowed to Alt+Tab out of a Blizzcon Demo and you can't do anything with the computer besides play D3. They have people watching just to be sure so you wont find any luck here.

Not even Death will save you from Diablo Bunny's Cuteness!
Maybe we'll find someone even sneakier at the upcoming Blizzcon? O.o

I agree with feminism. I don't think that it's right that for every dollar a man makes, a women gets 70 cents. Why do I only get 30 cents and some chick gets the rest?
Agreed, though I think running it at MAX settings will power slightly more power. Either way I'm not build my rig until I get official word on the specs.

I remember a while ago, they said the rigs playing the demo are monsters. And they're needed cause the game isn't optimized yet. Or, well, wasn't optimized at that time.
I'd assume quite safely that a rig that plays Starcraft II will manage Diablo III aswell.

I constantly blame myself for not having patience to wait that long. But I had to buy a new computer when I had money, the last fall. Anyway, I hope that Fingolfin is right, because my current rig far surpasses the system recommendations of Starcraft II.
Luckily for me I don't have any PC games I play at the current time, if I did I'm sure I couldn't wait either. I'll likely wait until 60 days or so before release to order the parts, since in all reality new GPUs come out every few months.. I wouldn't worry about your PC though, if it can run SC2 comfortably, it'll be able to run D3.

Yeah, don't worry about it. Blizzard is not really known for pushing the limits of hardware. They want their games to be accessible to all kinds of people all around the world. People with top-notch computers who can run the heaviest games on max settings are just a very very small part of the consumers.
With that said there will of course be some settings that would require more power to run smoothly, as in SC2, but nothing super heavy I would expect.

I remember at Blizzcon 2008 they were being run on HP's gaming computers(I think the Blackbird?) but wasn't sure of the specs.
Just curious as I am quickly losing sanity while waiting for this game to come out @.@
