You should definitely be able to choose a female version for every class in the game. It just makes sense. I can't really picture a female druid though I don't know why?
In all fairness, those are some pretty old renderings done in some pretty old technology. Were that done with a modern rendering program, I doubt they'd look so... uhh... meaty?
Besides, we are supposed to be talking about "some PC game"; this thread and forum are about Diablo III!
But to do what assassins do, they would absolutely have to be in great physical shape. Ever met a martial arts expert with giant funbags and meaty arms/legs? Let's be honest.

I can. I probably shouldn't, and would be lauded as a chauvinist, but I still can do it.
Seriously, female druids woulda been the hottest character choice ever.

In fact, unless the person is a barb, their physique would be smaller because female muscles are more slender than males ones.

And, though not particularly attractive to me per se, the female barbarians should be giant muscle-bound meatheads with smaller breasts. They should grunt and scream bloody murder when they swing their massive axes, and wear just as little as their male counterparts.
For clarity's sake, so I don't offend any women (never, EVER something I would do intentionally), it isn't that small breasts are unattractive -- bodybuilders are just not my cup of tea.
Obviously strong, and not without a unique attractiveness.
Also, this is kind of a personal thing for me, but neither version of the barb should look like a body builder. Body builders focus on building muscle volume, which doesn't equate to strength. I was so happy with the direction they took the barb's design.

In regards to the female Barbarian, I think the conceptual art is fitting for the class granted the primitive nature of Barbarians throughout lower fantasy. Though, I wouldn't complain if they added a bit more eyecandy, or made the character easier on the eyes (?). Frank Cho's rendition of Shanna the She-Devil would be perfect, imho.
I truly don't understand people who play women characters (unless your're a woman youself). I just wouldn't feel strong with a female barbarian even if i had the best gears in the game... I just can't take myself seriously with women chars, that's why i never played with a sorc or an amazon or an assassin in D2.
Just personal preference, man. Guys have their own reasons; my reason is simple. I love women an' I'd rather have a dead sexy female avatar than a dood. My wife totally understands my stance on this, hahah. Though, ironically, I plan on playing a male Barbarian in D3. The male Barbarian is just too badass to roll a female.

See, that's what i don't get, it's a freaking female in a VIDEO GAME. How can someone find anything sexy about a video game character no matter how it's made... it's just beyond me.

Nowadays, you can barely tell the difference between real females and rendered ones. So, why wouldn't you? Don't you find the women depicted in Boris artwork gorgeous? I sure do. And I don't know a single person that would call his women over-sexualized.

I'd totally hit it.

It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.
