The Uli monk has been a nice change of pace from my WW barb, but I wish they had 8 pieces to the set so I could try to diversify my build. Feels very cookie cutter still.
Game with competition + no hacks/duping = min/maxing = weird gameplay = zdps, rotations, etc. D3 will always have something goofy that happens to be 'the best'. Just that sort of game.
Having something goofy can make the game interesting... Only 1 or 2 classes having something goofy placing them a good 10-15 GR levels ahead of others is silly. The most "goofy" thing wizards do is combine their set-bonuses to create a 14000% weapon damage per second time zone. Which sounds like a lot more than it is :/
What makes it worse is the lack of gear-requirment to play heal monk.. Every Wizard/DH/Crusader can spend 2 hours gearing up a Monk (not difficult just ask the 3 monks currently in the group to give you gear they don't need) and play healbot in GR's multiple levels above what their 1000 hour play-time full ancient main could.
Coming into the season now might not be as bad as joining in at the start. At least it wasn't 3 out of 4 people playing a Uli monk when only 1 works in a group.
And Blizz pretends like they designed the game to play with friends. In reality, you end up strait to chat channels looking for random players while having to decline clan mates due to the classes/specs they're playing.

I must say after having jumped into seasons im extremely dissapointed.
To go high into RIfts you have to have a heal monk....its as simple as that.
Now every game i go into its a monk-athon,
And it makes sense....they are good DPS hitters with diff kind of builds and u can get a 2nd one with the heal u are set.
9 out of ten games I play its all monks or maybe one barb.
All other builds are completely dead.
Its a shame as i would have liked to play all diff kinds of builds but is been pigeon holed even more.

And this is my point....they havent got it right!!
To be only able to play once type of character maybe two when there are heaps more seem whack to me!
