You can get all this information for free in forums or by searching. This guides in general are common knowledge. It's just made up as über special secret ... to attract people. Nothing else.
I seriously doubt it holds any new info that would be useful. They throw those guides together as fast as possible when the game is hyped up huge (at launch) and then they get your money and don't really update the guides when patches hit.
Hey there - saw your post and had to chime in. About 15 years ago I bought a bunch of those guides for Everquest thinking there really was something new in them. I was disappointed to find out that they are not a scam, but simply a collection of public information in one easy place to find. The value is in it all being in one place. I don't think it is worth it though,
Forgive the shameless plug, but you can find a ton of D3 info on my YouTube channel:
To power level just make a friend that will run you on MP10 with +xp gear on, you can be 60 within a day. Best way to do it IMO is to alternate: find someone who needs 1-60 as well and just run each other. The only catch being they need to be powerful enough (Hell gets hard on MP) and you need at least 1 60 to begin with.
That being said, if it's your first character, don't run to 60 ... enjoy the journey!
I'm going to take that "no" and raise you a "hell no". don't buy into these fake guides. My YT channel gets flooded with comment spam from this "D3 Max out Turbo" guide. The sad part is the spam started before the game was even released, claiming that Bob (or jake or tim or whoever they decide to use) used it to get to max level and max out his golds. High claims for a game that no one outside of Blizzard had played at the time. hopefully that shows you how 'legit' these things are. Worse yet, those kinds of guides don't update when the game does. Any information they may possible have had is now outdated especially with patchest constantly changing how the game works. I doubt they even have information on Monster Power which now is one of the best ways to level (based on skill/gear).
Just look around, search diablofans or youtube. you'll find all sorts of information there. Information that is constantly updated and best of all FREE.
For 10$ I'll give you a link to these forums. You should give me your money instead, and you'll get an even better guide, too!
Seriously, if you want to power level, buy super-cheap items on the AH (which will generally be much better than what you can find) every few levels (every 10-20 levels at lower levels, every 5-10 levels at the 40+ area). Don't spend more than 5k on an item. Maybe 10k max at level 40+. If you find good ones, items with +exp in addition to main stat and vitality is all you need.
At low levels buy socketed items (especially weapon(s)) - Flawless square gems are super-cheap and are extremely powerful for low levels. At higher levels buy a level 60 weapon with reduced level requirements. If you really want to breeze through those higher levels, you can make an exception and spend up to 50k on a weapon that will get you to 60, though one for 10-20k can work just fine.
Save the rest of your gold, and sell all items when you're done with them. Don't level jeweler or blacksmith. You should have ~700k gold when you reach 60, which should be more than enough to buy gear that is good enough to beat inferno and even start farming act 3 at MP0 so you can get some more paragon levels and loot to sell so that you can buy better and better items.
