posted a message on Class choice based on items?

How much should having a dex and a strength Furnace factor into choosing my main class for non-season, softcore, greater rifts?

I'd prefer to play a Wizard, but would be willing to do Barb or Monk. I play about an hour total a day. Should I let the fact that I have this item steer me from playing a wiz, taking limited play time into account?

Does thunderfury's lightning damage benefit from thundergod's "Lightning skills deal 10–15% more damage." ?

Dont think u need +gold gear, with the gem, u can go to Ruins of Corvus and in like 15min get 80mill gold, or more, with little to no effort
What's "little to no effort"? I'm a casual player and streamers would say 4 hours or so.

So I'm collecting gold gear to switch to in case of a portal to the treasure goblin Vault.

Other than sun keeper, goldwrap and goldskin, are there any other legendaries with + extra gold or gold effects?

I know I can just google it, but I'd rather hear from you what kind of these builds are popular and floating around.

I have all the equipment so feel free to suggest anything.

I got 3 RORGs today in an hour and a half.

I'm convinced that the pity timer isn't a timer at all and doesn't "kick in" after a certain amount of time, but rather resets after every legendary, starts immediately, and slowly ramps up the legendary drop chance.

Regardless of whether the Junger method is tin foil or not, bounty bags are farmed faster with this routine and reducing the time it takes to get RORGs.

Five in 10 hours with a method called "Junger Farming"...

You may already have your RORG but this method will help you farm a *good* one which you can roll to a trifecta.

How it works: The game has a pity timer, meaning that if you don't get a legendary within an hour or so it drops one for you automatically. The goal the aforementioned method of farming is to ensure that pity drop is in your horadric cache and not in the world.

    What to do:

-Do not kill any mobs except those required for objectives.
    -Do not kill goblins.
-Do not open chests including resplendent chests.
-Do not destroy breakables (pots, barrels, looting bodies etc)
    -Do not pop fortune shrines
-Do not kill mobs from required cursed chest and shrine event objectives until the timer has run out.

Avoiding a legendary drop in the world increases the chance the pity timer drops one in your cache.

    Who:

Join the Junger Farming community called "Junger Rules" with more info here:

Blues have stated that the contents of caches are determined the moment you obtain the cache, not when you open them, so it doesn't matter when you open them and the pity timer has nothing to do with that.

    Any questions?

    Please help me survive inferno.

I'm using a cooldown fire build that emphasizes the following affixes:

    strength
    cc
    cd
    cool down reduction
    specifix skill damage

I'm thinking about replacing + bash damage on my belt and pants with vit/all res/armor unless I'd be better off replacing another affix. Which of those three defensive stats should I use?

    thanks

I should say I can't seem to get any that have three of these stats with an extra stat to reroll.

posted a message on Fourth suspension on official forums...why?
I was suspended for trolling on the Bnet forums for the fourth time today. If it happens again I'm done forever. Please read my post and tell me if it's worthy of a suspension:

A Declaration of War and Kevin Martens

Do you agree or disagree with Kevin Marten's statement and why:

"This game feels like Diablo; as soon as you start playing and clicking monsters, it definitely feels like Diablo; I make no apologies for that"

    http://www.ausgamers...es/read/3370122

Crap or Get off the Pot:
I've been holding my tongue on the forums because I figured I should keep my mouth shut or just quit the game. I'm breaking my silence and before you flame, let me explain:

    Why I Play:
The phenomenon of gamers dumping loads of hours, I'm talking thousands, into a single game seems like a more modern phenomenon as back in the old days simple Atari and NES games would get old really fast. With games like WOW players are investing more time than ever before. I had never had this experience with a game, so when D3 came out I thought it the perfect opportunity to "crack out" on a game seeing that it was supposedly "Diablo" and Blizzard was known for making infinitely replayable games. So I committed to "complete" D3 and do whatever it took to finish for the sole sake of going as far as I could in one game in my life. I had beaten D1 and D2 on Normal but didn't pour tons of hours into it like some. Little did I know what was in store.

    The Elephant in the Room
Blizzard is trying too hard to appeal to their female audience. With Blizz offering a free copy of D3 to those who purchased the WOW Annual Pass, I'm sure they were anticipating a larger audience of females than ever before because WOW is saturated with women. What they failed to realize is that the fan base they left hanging for 12 years was mostly men and their playtesters/ focus groups aren't representative of the most hardcore and devoted Diablo fans.

While the colorful and cutesy art style was charming on the first playthrough, every subsequent one appeared increasingly garish. While this works in theory as the majority of customers only play through game once or twice, it doesn't take into consideration the most hardcore fans who are the backbone and foundation of the Diablo community and play the game for hundreds of hours. This was yet another gloveslap to the face of D1 and D2 fans.

    Kevin Martens
After the debacle documented in my previous thread, I expected KM to not make the same mistake again and had so much faith that this was a one-time error.

    http://us.battle.net...opic/9792970234

But the interview below in he states:

"This game feels like Diablo; as soon as you start playing and clicking monsters, it definitely feels like Diablo; I make no apologies for that"

    http://www.ausgamers...es/read/3370122

This makes me realize he and Blizzard are so out of touch with their most hardcore fans and didn't learn a thing from the disaster that is/was D3c. Diablo 3 did not feel like a Diablo game as it was lacking the gothic, horror, dark fantasy, lovecraftian feel of D1 and D2 and this is nearly unanimously agreed upon on these forums.

    With Teeth

I want Diablo games to have teeth again. I want them to be fierce and masculine and leave a lasting impression upon people. I don't want this eunuch/ gelding of a game that is D3c. Embrace the masculine energy. It is not bad. It's not unappealing. It is not sexist. It is not anti-female. It just is.

You are still demanding Blizzard fire people to appease some sense of vengence.

Who said anything about anyone getting fired? You are jumping to that conclusion. All I want is for Pardo's name to never be on another Diablo product again. Ever.

I'm fine with him staying with Blizz and WOW, designing sparkle ponies for you, Shaggy, to buy for $25 a pop.

posted a message on Someone Must be Held Responsible *Revised*
I revised my original post on the Bnet forums and once again it got deleted. Talk about extreme censorship! Please read and tell me how this violated the rules:

So after all this time of there being an auction house available in D3, Blizzard finally figured out that it short circuits their "core reward loop". If you believe this then stop reading, now.

My opinion is that Blizzard knew the AH diminished a core gameplay mechanic all along. I think they were smart enough to figure before D3's release that people would gravitate towards buying items instead of finding them. The following statements are based on this belief:

We must now question who made the decision that would sacrifice a core element of Diablo and possibly jeopardize the franchise.

Jay Wilson is not responsible. He was only the director and second to Rob Pardo, producer of Diablo 3. The auction house would not exist if Pardo didn't give it the green light. The buck stops with him.

But fans and devs alike should ask themselves if they really want a person that was willing to sacrifice a core gameplay element of D3 to be producer of future games of the franchise.

They say the first step of solving a problem is admitting you have one. Blizz did that recently with the announcement of closing of the AH. But this is only treating a symptom of the real problem. Now is a time for change, Blizzard. Someone must be held responsible.
