Yeah... it's a lot more fun when it isn't that every single mob runs at you all the time

You mean to say this game isn't tailored for single-player usage like all the vocal forum users seem to imply? Huh, who knew?
Yeah mutiplayer is a blast. I do mostly solo during the week but at least once a week a few friends and I run a full 4 man party, 2 wizards a barb and a monk, and it is so much fun. That being said I have not tested the public game waters and don't intend to. Too many years of WoW pug groups has lead me to the conclusion that it would not yield desirable results.
It becomes even better when the players get skills to compliment coop. Cyclone strike is kinda mediocre in Single Player, but it's damn awesome when you're paired with a Cleave Barb, a Meteor Wiz and a Bear spamming WD. Ranged champs/rares become so damn easy with it.
