Things not to ask.
No. Don't ask if Diablo 3 will be announced at WWI.
No. Don't ask if Diablo MMO in the works.
1.) If Inarius and other angels are powerful enough to have been able to create Sanctuary is it possible that other realms similar to it can exist?
2.) Given Diablo's propensity for possessing mortal beings, was it necessarily the end for him once his soulstone was destroyed?
3.) Will we begin to see more of the political structures of both the High Heavens and the Burning Hells delved into more, lore-wise?
4.) While Lilith's motivations in helping to create Sanctuary were more clear (the assembly of an army), what are Inarius's intentions moving forward? Which side is he on?
I'll probably think of more at some point but these are the ones that jumped out at me.
Q) What are the chances of learning some more about Belial / Azmodan, their roles in the Civil War in Hell against the Prime Evils, and their possible roles in future literature / games?
is blizzard pinned for diablo 1-2 camera for any possible future project in the series , i mean do they think that camera (from close sky) is a must have for diablo franchise, or can they make the similar transition like they did from warcraft 3 to wow?
(i know war3 and wow are rts and mmorpg, just making an example of the cameras)
Can you describe the process for creating a new Evil/Greater Demon?
We have noticed that there is a significant amount of Prime numbers scattered throughout the Diablo universe. Was there always the intention to have a connection between Prime numbers and the Prime Evils? When coming up with a new idea what determines how many there will be? Do some numbers represent something that isn't so obvious?
What were the Cairn Stones intended to do before they opened up the portal to Tristram?
(I dunno, the last couple Q's kinda suck, and could be answered with a simple "No".)

Surely its possible but it wouldn't be diablo now would it. I think for the sake of looking at your character from close up shots (vanity mode) and taking cool screenshots there should be a camera for that. There could also be some leeway that allows the player to slightly lower the viewing angle but not too much and it would most likely not be as efficient to fight with a modified camera angle. It should be a lot easier to scan the battle field, perform attacks and duel from the diablo 2 vantage point we are all familiar with. Lowering the camera angle, zooming in and rotating should be done solely when you are in control of the monsters and can preoccupy yourself with secondary priorities. It would be practicle to have a reset key which if pressed would the player can easily switch back to the normal camera angle.

Its a good question/discussion topic, but, if they answer it, they would have to reveal whether a Diablo III is in the works or not, and they won't do that.
It could be good if it was like Warcraft III, how you zoom in with the mouse scroll.
Also, remember, in Diablo I you can press Z (I think) and you can zoom in on your character. The only thing is that your character is still the same number of pixels, so you look really pixely and bad. Thats likely why they didn't have it in DII.
Why does it have to be the same camera? It was in two games, who knows, they may make a better camera view. It's like the II/III debate, has to be III. You know, sometimes the best thing in life is change.
Now I'm not saying that they have to change the camera, but if they do it will still be Diablo, you just won't like it. Other more open people will try it and may very well like it. And it's still Diablo.
Anyway, my question is: What the hell happened to the other evils that stayed in Hell while all this Diablo/Mephisto/Baal/Duriel/Andrial crap was going on? Did they get stronger? Were they too overthrown? What happened? Are they still even alive?
Where did the Soulstones come from and how do they relate to a Prime Evil that has to exist on Sanctuary?
Did Izual willingly leave the ranks of Heaven, or was he actively corrupted by the Three?
Can a demon be "un-corrupted/purified" in a similar fashion as well by the agents of Heaven?
Does the Angiris Council have a superior?
Are there any dragons besides Trag'Oul in the world, and if not, were there ever any plans of incorporating dragons?
Are the Amazon gods Ancients much like Rathma and Bul-Kathos?
How well known have Heaven and Hell been to the general public in Sanctuary over the years? Particularly between the Sin War and up until the end of Diablo II.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
And where did Trang'Oul come from for that matter?
And for THAT matter, where did Sanctuary come from?
And Heaven and Hell?
Did they always exsist or were they created or was there a "Big Bang" type thing or what?
Sanctuary was created by Inarius and some other rogue angels and demons (including Lilith). Don't know about the other ones, though.
The interesting thing about Metzen coming out and saying The Sin War happened ~1000 years before the plots of Diablo 1&2 is that also gives you a rough platform for guessing how old Sanctuary is. The question now is just: How long before The Sin War did Inarius and Co. create Sanctuary?
Speaking of which... there's another question to ask, haha.

1) What were some memorable things that you / the devs wanted in the game that didnt make the cut?
2) Now that Baal, Mephisto and Duriel are dead what powers are left?
3) whens Diablo 3 coming?

I want to know this too...
Doubt that Blizz would do that. They already did that with WoW's Outlands, and they don't want D3 to be a copy of WoW. (Or so I hope... Q.Q)
Makes you wonder how crazy the world really is.
I'll pass on the diablo questions this time round.
"Cards and flowers on your window, your friends all plead for you to stay,
sometimes beginnings aren't so simple, sometimes goodbye's the only way."

- Is the Pandemonium Event canon?
