I'm really torn on which one to play and if people have experience playing both, can you help me with your insight? I know the differences but was just wondering if there is a better preference to one over the other. I don't care about seasons and can only play 1-2 hours a day max if that helps with information. I'm roughly p285 on PC and just started on PS4 as I rented it to try it out. Any help is greatly appreciated and thanks in advance!
If you were wanting to play competitively play PC. If you were wanting to play casually play ps4. If your PC has poor performance play ps4. If you don't own a ps4, play PC. If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands. Alternatively you could play both, pick up a used ps4 copy on eBay
Making this a vote is probably not a great idea as most people on this site are PC players. Also, this is very much personal preference and is based very much on your own circumstances and the way you like to game.
If you want official leaderboards/seasons etc then PC is the only choice. If you enjoy using a controller and already game on PS4, have friends who also play diablo on it etc, then PS4 is the way to go.
There is no one right answer, and if you are torn and can't decide, maybe you should do both
ps. be aware that hacked items on PS4 is rampant. If you run public games you absolutely will encounter random players joining your game who will demonstrate almost godlike abilities (and in doing so, will kind of ruin the game for those who want to play legit). So yeah, if that matters to you keep your games local or friends only.
as mentioned it comes down to personal preference on how you game, but there are a good many features on PC you will miss out on with a console version, and while there are a small number of console specific features not present on PC they have little to no impact on the overall enjoyment of the game for PC gamers, as in us pc gamers don't feel we are missing out on anything by not playing a console version.

I voted PS4 as a person who plays both pretty consistently.
The con to PS4 is that there are no seasons. The pro's are that because of no seasons, you can get all seasonal PC items on the day of launch.
To me, the deciding factor is sitting on a recliner with controller in hand, friends around you, and just drinking and gaming it up, great experience.

Personallymost of my friends are PC, I played console but I didn't like the inventory system as much. Plus I didn't feel the competition online. Enjoy
