I'm running fire magic missile and scorch right now on T2+and can agree, it can work if you can align enemies properly and aim the explosion of the orb, but there is this feeling left that basiclly frozen orb would way more easier. ^^"
Making both effects a little bit wider could help, so does better stacking of damage over time effetcs.
And I, too, would like to see a fire variant of disintegrate.
Im running Scorch/Conflagrate w/ Spakflint Magic Weap(force) and Pinpoint at t5/6. I have 100 k unbuffed with 94% +fire i use Maximus for the Tank and Fire chains and I can testify to the damage of Scorch/Conflagrate(magic missle). Its very good
I suppose bring in Blazer (black Hole) when RoS launches will help out alot with getting enemies to bunch up for Scorch's explosion. Having such a small AoE when traveling is so annoying.
Magic missile with the fire rune feels REALLY weak... It doesn't do instant damage, it does a weak DoT
It applies a weak refreshable dot that stacks into infinity. Magic missle (conflag) is probably the best spell in the game against bosses. Just spam it for a minute and watch the dot tick for millions
