can you tell me, how the Haunt spell determines it's targets with the rune that casts 2 spirits? I suppose the primary ghost hits the target at my cursor and the secondary affects the nearest available target? Is that correct? Or is there some kind of smart-targetting so that it looks for targets that aren't haunted already?
I'm asking because I want to play a Jade WD once I get the last piece and I'll need a method to apply Haunt to all mobs in a pack with as few casts as possible because I don't want to overwrite powerful Haunts with weaker ones.
From my experience, even casting towards off screen monsters still haunts them... you're correct with target casts, one hits the target the other flies towards something near it, but as long as its close enough... if you cast in the area close to a target (not highlighting something) then it will still function as you targeted the closest monster to the cursor (so long as its within a certain distance)
