Im running the average Acid rain/ summoner build running into lots of Reflect Dmg mobs. Since this is a predominant spec or atleast thats how it seems on the forums, i can only assume most of you have run into this problem and corrected it. Is the answer life steal or LoH? please explain, also if you see anything wrong with my gearing please feel free to give tips and advice!
My answer, with zero LoH/LL is Grave Injustice with a whole lot of pickup radius to use Spirit Walk constantly and get globes. Its kind of hard since you need to pull trash to keep skills ready to go, but +health on globes together with pickup radius is incredibly useful.
Depends what your gear level is. You should be able to kill them within a potion and a spiritwalk (and if that fails, a vessel). This shouldnt be an issue - they drop health globes at certain intervals, and you full heal anyways.
Now, If you were asking for seigebreaker/ZK in the InfMach, I'd ask why you were still using cloud =P
Mostly what Luizdeh / Kit said - hopefully you can damage them enough during spirit walk that by the time you come out and start taking damage there are health globes everywhere.
I also have a decent 500 LOH amulet I swap to if the above plan isn't going well.
To be honest I've never had much problems with Reflect Damage, except with heavy hitting dudes (phasebeasts and swift skull cleavers come to mind). If I'm in trouble I just run away a bit to get my pets off the mobs and reset their position next to me, which buys me a little time to regen (822 regen), find more monsters for globes/CD reduction and/or get pot ready.
Also, I've used both Zombie Bears and Acid Rain and the latter is definitely more Reflect Damage-friendly, since you take constant yet fairly manageable damage, as opposed to heavily spiked from Bears, especially from a crit.
