Should i go gor zunimassa helm or some other legendary? Or try to go for a nice rare helm? As of right now im not going with a pet build. So I was trying to find one with acid cloud skill on it. Zunimassa has one that increases cc of acid cloud but I wasn't sure if I should go with int/vit/cc rare helm or try to piece together zunimassa set slowly. If so what are good stats on it? Thanks guys!
I have a question to people who got the Zunimassa set.
Since the helm only rolls one random property, the choices are: All resist, Crit and Mana Regen. What do you guys think is the best choice?
All Resist helps pets, but Inferno isn't so hard anymore, and do you need the mana regen on the helm if you have the full set plus a dagger and an off hand with regen on them? I'm wondering if all that mana regen would outdps the crit since you will be able to dish out a lot of spells.
If you've got hundreds of millions to blow, or think you will get that, then by all means go for the Zunimassa set. As much as I'd like it I can't see myself ever getting that sort of coin.
As such I've gone with a rare with high crit damage. Mine cost 1.5mil which is just a drop in the ocean compared to the cost of Zunimassa. I'd lose 1.6k odd dps if I used one as good as Rupp's over what I have too.
Personally then I think you're better off with rares until you can afford at least two of the Zuni items for the extra int set bonus. The four set bonus looks amazing...
Zuni set bonuses (2,3, and 4) are all very good. It's a great set to shoot for. Ring and Chest are my next upgrades now that I have Lacuni's and Skorn taken care of.

It really depends on how much gold you want to spend. Crit is going to be the most expensive but it's also the best if you're going for damage. Don't underestimate survivability stats though. Not only am I saving money by going all resist, but I'll be able to play more aggressively and therefore my runs will go quicker.
Once you get enough int and crit on the cheaper pieces (offhand, gloves, and ammy you'll have enough dps to blow up anything in the game (rare packs will be slightly slower due to lower crit though).
I'm not sure how expensive mana regen is on this helm. If it's cheap enough it wouldn't be a bad alternative. I wouldn't spend extra money on one though. Once you get the 4 piece bonus, mana won't be much of an issue any more.
Really... you'll get what you pay for. If you want to spend a ton, you can go crit. If you want to save a bit (but still spend a lot) go all resist. Anything else will be a lot cheaper. Personally, I avoided crit on zuni pieces because it drives up the price way too much and I can reach a high enough dps value without relying on abusing crit.
how much critical chance should i shoot for? and with damage what all can i get that mod on? is it only weapons and gloves? i need to buff up my resistances so far i do know that lol and try to find some life regen instead of life on hit because its crazy expensive...

There's no magic number really, just try to get as much as you can afford. The cheapest slots are offhand and gloves though. You can get a good chunk of crit just from these 2 slots and it won't set you back much money. You can also get a ton of crit from ammy's but those start getting a bit more expensive (but it's worth it).
