i usually just do the bounties for cursed chests and shrines + run through halls of agony 1&2 along with normal rifts after lvl50. decent leveling speed.
level a wizard WD or barb to 70 . max out a set of crafted exp gear ( ues the cube to remove the lv requerment ) a 2hander with gem of ease . hellfire ammy and ring and a full set of max gems 2 red 5 green . a gizzard at least rank 25 and toxion gem as high rank as u feel u want . that should work pretty well

So you want him to level other toons first and get all the exp gear and use that to level a monk? please don't tell me you just recommended that.
thats what im going to do . ive lved 2 monks on the ptr now and its so much faster to do a difrent class 1st
Ok. Leveling a barb, wiz or WD to 70. 4-5 hours. Gearing up for grift 25 for the gem. Even getting the gem. +5 hours. Getting all the other exp gear and remove the levels. +2-3 hours.
Leveling a monk. 4-5 hours..
What the living fuck have you been smoking ? pure crystal rock cyanide ?
Also. Don't you need a need a gem of ease 25+ for each item you reduce level on ?
By the time it takes you to level up all those gems. You have leveled EVERY class to 70

So much depends on what gear you get, what sockets you have and if you are a the group. I always recommend being in a 4 person group while leveling. Stay in Hard mode most of the time unless you or someone in your group gets a legendary weapon that can one-shot the elites. You can bump the game up to expert for a while until you out-level your legendary weapon. On monk always go for a 2-handed weapon. Monks have high cooldowns and you need the large numbers to boost your output. Exploding palm is almost always your best bet in group play.
This is the general direction you want to head from 1-26.
At 36 switch over to CW:RT. This adds a lot of spirit generation to your kit.
If you find a good 2-hander use EP:Flesh is Weak. If your group members do a lot more damage than you, use Cyclone Strike to group and EP the mobs so they can burst kill them.
Movement speed is critical so always go for it on boots and passive. Spamming your Mantra of Healing will shield you and allies allowing everyone to mitigate a crazy amount of damage which in turns lets you ignore more mechanics and stay alive a lot longer to deal damage. Most often you can kill elites very quickly but die a lot. If this is the case use Mantra of Healing spam to ensure no one is dying and push harder difficulties.
The build remains the same all the way up into 70 until you begin getting sets/legendaries. Finding Gungdo gear early helps a ton as well. EP is worth it without it using the Gungdo gear all the way through.
In S4 you are going to want to do bounties a lot at first and then normal rifts when you enter 20's/30's. Rifts at lower levels are harder than they should be because you have little to no skills in your kit to counter all the elites, the mob density and the constant fights that punish big cooldowns. Once you gain some skills and gear switch over to rifts and clear them. They should not be taking more than 8-10 mins per clear. If so go back to bounties. Overall rifts are better if you clear them fast enough. If you are killing elites in 2-3 seconds with a group then you are on the right difficulty. If they take longer than 5 seconds lower it or switch to bounties.
Welp those are my guidelines and thoughts. I have enjoyed playing a monk in all four seasons (S4 on PTR). Will be going that route once again! I was top 1300 to hit 70 in S2 and top 200 in S3. Looking to get top 100 this season
So personally I suck at monk. haven't really played it at all but I saw a build I want to play around with next season.
So can anyone give me hints to level really fast as monk when next season comes out so I can get to that sweet loot as soon as possible?
Route's builds etc everything helps.
Not really referring to max level kinda referring to the level up process.

http://www.diablofans.com/builds/53522-fresh-70-non-gear-dependent-grinding-monk-solo <- this is a build i made, it doesn't appeal to everyone, but it'll do the job and you can just add the skills as you get them leveling.

Thank you ill try this out.
that is actually outdated to be honest
in S4 you don't need fragments to do rifts so you can just do rifts from the start
