now it's more of an every day occurrence.
Yeah, because so many people out there are farming Ghom with 7k HP and 50 AR these days.
    Oh wait...

    But this is just masochism.
This is challenge that was beaten with skill only. Some people still enjoy that over mindless grinding.

What is sad is your "100k" gear is what I spent millions during the first 3 wks of D3 to beat Diablo Inferno
    Why is it sad?

It was sad how OP wizards were, glass cannon with the ability to take 3 hits, and making bank selling us gear :P

(OK OK we were kind of super OP too during the first week...)

I remember wiping one whole day on Belial (8+hours) than I bought a new weapon the next morning and beat him in a hazy daze. :)

I don't understand how you found most of your gear for the prices you've listed. Could you go into a bit of depth on your auction house strategy? I'd love to be able to pick up a bow like that for 10,000 gold, since that same blue dps-type bow costs over 2 million last I checked :P

check again lol, there's tons of them for 10k

Maybe I'm just a skeptic... but the belt you posted in your gear is a "barbarian only" belt, which a demon hunter can't equip....

Read it again. It only pertains to gaining Fury from Rend, lots of gear has similar class stats as an affix.

Not to flame you or anything, but isn't this more an expression of the gear prices falling rather than anything else? You have more DPS than I did when I cleared up to Siegebreaker (Post SS nerf, Pre NT and Inferno nerf), but less health. I had around 18k dps and 20k hp for Belial (and no resistance), and my gear was not less than a 100k at that time.

These challenges are cool and all, but I must admit it's getting a bit much. It started out as a proof that you can clear Inferno without farming your ass off, now it's more of an every day occurrence. No hatin'!

I actually quite like this one as it is an Inferno clear. The posts that just proclaim "Killed Inferno Diablo with xx Gear" that clearly wouldn't make it past any of the preceding gear checks or elites really irk me. What I also appreciate with this vid is the demonstration of good DH skills against various mobs (depending which one you watch). Possibly that helps far more people than the motivation of "someone else did it xx gear so I should be able to" as way too many people just toss up excuses like "they got a bargain" or "it costs 20 million on this server" etc.

Now I just want to see some uber DH do the same with less gear AND 400ms+ latency so I can feel really bad ;-)

    Edit: Typo

So if I go to the North America US East auction house right now and search for bows, I'll be able to find 1020+ dps examples for 10,000 gold? BRB.

OP, could you elaborate some on the build(s) you used?

I had a post in the diablo forums, but it seems to be gone now...
My main build ( http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/demon-hunter#aPYXVd!aYe!YcZZYb ) allows for a lot of control when dealing with elites.

Caltrops/Torturous Ground is the only thing that can slow fast elites so I always keep that in there

Smoke Screen/Lingering is always important for getting out of sticky/jailed situations

Preparation is super important for keeping the disc pool filled, I really like the focused mind rune since the over-time effect allows using it early and being super efficient. Another good rune is backup plan, but it can really suck when it doesn't proc. I also wouldn't use backup plan for stuff like this to avoid controversy (ie "he only killed xxx because he got a couple of bp procs")

Vault is great for mobility (tumble to save on disc), good for kiting, escaping (you can pass through mobs with it), tripling run speed etc, and its cheap!

Hungering Arrow is too good to pass up for its superb single target damage.

Cluster Arrow is my choice of hatred spender, I prefer to spend a lot in one shot. I used mostly Loaded for Bear in the run for extra control (I prefer cluster bomb when doing normal runs)

    Siegebreaker build: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/demon-hunter#bPYXVj!TYe!YYZZYY

Entangling/Justice is Served to generate fast hatred.
Cluster Bomb to unload heavy damage during each smoke screen
Mark instead of Vault to increase DPS/hatred

I had tried SP/Gloom instead of Smoke Screen, but a couple of cluster bombs still killed me right through it -_-

    Cydaea build: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/demon-hunter#aRlXVP!TYe!YaZZYY

Ball Lightning and RoV/Beastly Bombs to mow down spiders.
Cluster Bombs to deal heavy damage to Cydaea.

I also like your new challenge of "Clearing Inferno with Nothing". No gold or gear to start. Entertaining watching on the stream but it really makes me wish for an offline single player version of the game so i could practice in low latency those outstanding stutter step skills you demonstrate in your normal play.

Clearly a guy that just loves to play his DH, well done.
