So after a lot of grinding I finally got 5 piece Akhan's and rrog! Except... the results are less than spactacular. I don't even have anything close to perfect gear, (certainly not optimal and I don't even have enough gems to get all royal rubies yet) but I'm having a TON of problems with damage, still have surviving issues, and resource regeneration is still a big problem. If I go embodiment of power instead of prophet my survivability suffers, and prophet I cant spam ponies. And even when I can, I seem to be hitting with pillows in T6.
With regards to the legendary gems, I just stuck in whatever I thought looked interesting, I know bane of the trapped is preferred but I threw in starweaver's just because, and wreath of lightning because hell why not. This is probably incorrect.
If you guys can point to things I can improve (there are lots!) to do Grift 30+ and eventually get to 35+, I'd greatly appreciate it.
For one use bane of the trapped, bane of the powerful and the bleed one i forget its name your other option would be gogok and smite gem. For wrath use law of valor with unstoppable force and provoke charged up. you need 56.9% CDR to stay in akarats champ. for bracers use strongarms thats a extra bit of damage. you need to be stacking crit damage and crit chance along with phys% damage.
So I think you are in a good starting place, The gems that are recommended are Bane of the Trapped, Pain enhancer and *Your choice* there are a number of different options here.
The biggest and easiest increase you will see comes in the forms of +Physical dmg, or +Phalanx dmg. Those will be like getting 100k dps increases (Roughly) That will boost you quickest. Obviously better stat rolls always helps.
Not sure you have it, but you need perma akkarats. Its not negotiable. do your best to get as close as possible. Its a huge dps / toughness boost.
Also I use Shield glare on my Sader currently but I use the one that generates wrath, its upto you but spending wrath is doing dmg! If you made that change also you could switch out Long arm of the law for holy cause and get a 10% dps boost.
You know I would probably change the +armor on your boots to +phalanx dmg.
Hoping these tweaks help.
Interesting thought to leave you with. The difference between top end players and bottom end ones are taking the time to be as optimized as reasonably possible. Its not all about amazing drops.
Yea you're biggest issue atm is definitely not having perma AC, and you're missing a lot of CDR. The first two pieces I would try to get it on are you gloves and your RoRG. A cache specific legendary is a 100% drop chance at T6, so farm for one that comes with either a socket or CDR already on it, since it only has 1 extra affix roll.
Your gloves are another easy spot to grab CDR quick. I know it's a big loss of CHD, but perma AC is worth it until you can find better gloves.
ATM even a rare ring with comparable stats to your wailing host and CDR is better, so try to craft some.
Your Captain Crimson belt isn't doing you anything atm, you're going to want a vigilante belt, because it comes with CDR on it.
You're also missing another possible 20% bonus from your leorics since it rolled 80%.
And lastly, you don't have CDR on either your crusader shield or your weapon. Since getting that shield with nice rolls is pretty hard, I'd focus on getting a 2 hander with str / socket and CDR.
