BLIZZARD, can i suggest, instead of randomly shuffling runes with elements of fire cold etc.... Why not give us players options to decide which element a skill rune can have? For example, Fire Elemental rune/ knowledge orb that we can put in our preferred skill rune, that can either have superior quality or legendary quality that can level or upgrade as we progress thru greater rifts or completing quest or collecting materials for craft.. You can swap runes/elemental orbs at a certain expense but the level remains on that skill so that players will enjoy certain individuality or identity.. Please share this so blizzard can have an idea... Atleast we dont just farm legs and everybody is like twin marauder or earthquake barb with same skill same rune it is ridiculously monotonous. Stop changing skills rather give options to your players, create orbs of knowledge for example that makes a skill rune better, another example, we loot orb that can be inserted in barbarian skill threatening shout and when inserted can increase duration or increase damage dealt to monsters, and is upgradable, and tradable at least we raise the economy at the same time promote uniqueness. ANother example to DH, multishot rather than changing elemental dmg every patch, how about making runes available to each, like fire orb or cold orb so we have option to make our favored skill with elements we like, make elemental orbs that are normal/ superior/ crude or, magic and legendary that have unique stats, like fire orb and decreases the resource cost of skill runes, or cold orb with 10% increase damage of skill rune.. Then we have something to trade " the elemental or the skill orbs", economy booms! And goodbye twin earthquake fire barbs everybody is different!
And once you've learned to make paragraphs, the next lesson is that if you want to address a screed to Blizzard, you should post it on Blizzard's forums, not those a fansite that has no association with the company you're trying to talk to.
Do not copy/paste walls of text into every thread you deem to be fitting. Deleted the other posts. Also, readability and presentation of your arguments helps to convey the gist of your opinion.
"The economy" should never come into question when balancing and updating a game.
Ever.
The moment it does is when you very expressedly tell people that unless they're trading they're losing out. It was one of the biggest flaws of D3V: they wouldn't make changes because it would upset people who "invested" real/fake money in items. That mentality shows the players that if you're not trading (or, in the case of D3V, using the AH) that you're "doing it wrong." And we all know how that turned out with D3V.
They should be building a game that's compelling to play. If that creates a "good economy" then so be it. But their primary goal shouldn't be to create a game that has a "good economy" because that dwarfs what should be the primary goal: making an awesome game.
